Fox News: Tea Party Citizens’ Group Helps Uncover Alleged Rampant Voter Fraud in Houston

September 30, 2010

Fox News picks up the story after it was exposed by the citizen volunteers. Basically the vote fraudsters set up shop in illiterate areas of Houston, and shovel fraudulent votes into the election system. And here I thought that the electoral workers were supposed to investigate vote fraud and intimidation … Of course we now know the Obama Justice Department only investigates vote fraud cases and intimidation involving whites.

FOX News reported:

When Catherine Engelbrecht and her friends sat down and started talking politics several years ago, they soon agreed that talking wasn’t enough. They wanted to do more. So when the 2008 election came around, “about 50” of her friends volunteered to work at Houston’s polling places.

“What we saw shocked us,” she said. “There was no one checking IDs, judges would vote for people that asked for help. It was fraud, and we watched like deer in the headlights.”

Their shared experience, she says, created “True the Vote,” a citizen-based grassroots organization that began collecting publicly available voting data to prove that what they saw in their day at the polls was, indeed, happening — and that it was happening everywhere.

“It was a true Tea Party moment,” she remembers.

Like most voter watchdog groups, she said, her group started small. They decided to investigate voting fraud in general, not just at the polling places, and at first they weren’t even sure what to look for — and where to look for it.

And then it gets good. Who is the group Houston Votes, and why are they linked to Barrack Obama’s campaign staff? Simple, they are ACORN Lite.

Most of the findings focused on a group called Houston Votes, a voter registration group headed by Sean Caddle, who also worked for the Service Employees International Union before coming to Houston. Among the findings were that only 1,793 of the 25,000 registrations the group submitted appeared to be valid.

SEIU, now doing vote fraud, add that to the list for their Communist rally on Saturday.

People all over the country are waking to the fraud and deceit that has become the Democrat party. It’s going to take years to get it right.

Didn’t journalist used to do this? Of yeah that’s right the DNC parrot media only does Republican vote fraud stories.

Patterico has many more details on the vote fraud in Houston, who the people are, and the connection to the ongoing Obama campaign.

Cuba To Drill In The Straits Of Florida

September 30, 2010

The Miami Herald reported:

Cuba is expected to begin drilling offshore for oil and gas as soon as next year with equipment that will go deeper than the Deepwater Horizon rig that exploded in the Gulf of Mexico, industry experts say.

The Spanish energy company, Repsol, which drilled an exploratory well in 2004 off the coast near Havana, has contracted to drill the first of several exploratory wells with a semi-submersible rig that is expected to arrive in Cuba at the end of the year, said Jorge Piñon, an energy expert and visiting research fellow at the Cuban Research Institute at Florida International University. He said the rig is expected to drill down 5,600 feet in an area about 22 miles north of Havana and 65 miles south of the Marquesas Keys.

Obama knew that his illegal deepwater drilling moratorium would cost at least 23,000 jobs but went ahead with it anyway, just laughing at a federal judge who blocked it. So the rigs are now freed up to give Cuba a hand up in the oil drilling business. So I expect they to do the same as Venezuela, stop paying the rig owners when they strike oil and just take the rigs. Here is a picture of the Straits of Florida by International law. Cuba owns half, the depth is a deep as 18,000 feet, compared to 5,000 feet the DeepWater Horizon was drilling.

Northern Lights hit 100-year low point: Finnish researchers

September 29, 2010

Since the sun causes the Aurora Borealis, I guess it’s the Sun’s fault. Or maybe Bush’s, it’s not clear. From Physorg.com:

The Northern Lights have petered out during the second half of this decade, becoming rarer than at any other time in more than a century, the Finnish Meteorological Institute said Tuesday.

The Northern Lights, or aurora borealis, generally follow an 11-year “solar cycle”, in which the frequency of the phenomena rises to a maximum and then tapers off into a minimum and then repeats the cycle.

“The solar minimum was officially in 2008, but this minimum has been going on and on and on,” researcher Noora Partamies told AFP.

Suprise Poll:This Will Make The Progressives Heads Explode

September 28, 2010

Latest poll finds about 1/3 of blacks support Tea Party ….

A new poll released this week soundly contradicts critics’ claims that the tea-party movement is “fringe,” “white” and “racist.”

PJTV’s Tea Party Tracking Poll has monitored nationwide sentiments toward the tea party on a weekly basis since Aug. 2. The poll’s most recent reports reveal the following results:

  • The number of people who identify as “members” of the tea party has more than tripled over the last month alone, up to 21 percent of likely voters;
  • Fifty-five percent of those surveyed said they support the tea parties based on the movement’s positions on the issues;
  • Among the likely voters who are black, 32 percent said they would vote for a candidate backed by the tea parties.

The last statistic caught the attention of PJTV.

“Questions of racism within the tea party have been raised for months now,” said PJTV’s Polling Director Vik Rubenfeld in a statement. “Our survey found that more than one in three African-Americans support the movement. Moreover, the data revealed that 32 percent are also likely to vote for a congressional candidate whom the tea party supports.”
