Who Needs Electricity Anymore, That’s So 20th Century

Record number of coal-fired generators to be shut down in 2012, I hope you don’t need electricity.

What is going on? Did you know?

Look it’s simple, in Obama’s warped mind, we don’t need electricity. They have none in Indonesia, or Kenya for that matter.  Anti-Colonialist Obama, the colonialist must be paid back for their sins. Haven’t you seen the world at night from space maps, The night sky is dark, beautiful, the wood campfire is great, lay on your back, look up at the beauty that an electricity free world can provide.

See if you can see Kenya of Indonesia

How cool will electricity rationing be …. Shut down the USA and other first world country’s. Oh yeah, forget the electricity sucking A/C.

So the EPA wants you to be part of their Gaia worship ceremonies, gather around the wood burning campfire. Because there will be no electricity. Nudge, shove, shoot, How tyranny works.

Here it comes, ready or not. Buy generators now!!! Don’t wait, avoid the rush. Avoid rationing now.

Or hope Mitt Romney shuts this outlaw Obama crap down. You want economy crushing action, this will do it.

Facing stiff federal environmental regulations, coal plant operators are planning to retire 175 coal-fired generators, or 8.5 percent of the total coal-fired capacity in the United States, according to an analysis by the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Did you see the video, Obama will bankrupt coal fired electricity generators. He has already got the miners fired, need jobs don’t apply for coal miners. The days of cheap electricity are finished, Unless of course the federal Government subsidizes your bill. Then you get it free. Haven’t you seen the ads, just give then=m your SS Number, you will get the Obama bill paying service, or identity thieves, their choice. You hadn’t heard?

Just a thought I want to interject, China is bringing on-line a few coal fired generators a week, so they will make up the slack for their people. Unfortunately, we have no electric lines across the Pacific. Oh yeah so that means you will have to go to work in Commie-China, I guess. Here is the “shove” liberals like so much.

Tampa Electric scam telling customers Obama will pay utility bills

A record-high 57 generators will shut down in 2012, representing 9 gigawatts of electrical capacity, according to EIA. In 2015, nearly 10 gigawatts of capacity from 61 coal-fired generators will be retired.

While many of those coal plants are old and relatively inefficient, the scope of this new planned shutdown is unprecedented.

“The coal-fired capacity expected to be retired over the next five years is more than four times greater than retirements performed during the preceding five-year period,” EIA noted in the analysis.

The generators that will be retired between 2012 and 2016 are “approximately 12% more efficient than the group of units, on average, that retired during 2009-2011,” according to the EIA.

So I suppose we are going to build new? Nope, coal shortage ahead. Remember? And batural gas, well the leftists are hard at work on that, stopping natural gas production.

Who needs electricity if you live in the thrid world.

Really, this is not good, electricity makes our world go around. How is every body going to charge up their electric cars? What you think it’s the wall socket that supplies electricity? I think you need a quick course in Jimmy Carter’s gas lines, and how all that worked out for him.

They are going to turn off 12% of our electric supply, with no plans to build new. What ever happened to “clean coal”. Yes it works, but we are not going to build “clean coal” plants that way … Obama says no???

Too much CO2 says our Obama …

But federal and state regulations have also damaged the industry and contributed to plant closures. Really now? You mean Obama and the EPA damaged the industry, let’s be honest, that was the plan …

“The cost of compliance with anticipated and existing Federal environmental regulations such as the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS) is a factor,” the EIA noted. “Particularly in the case of older, smaller units that are not used heavily, owners may conclude it is more cost efficient to retire plants rather than make additional investments.”

Most of the coal-fired generator retirements will occur in the Mid-Atlantic, Ohio River Valley and the Southeast.
