Hitting them out of the park … Ryan keeps swinging for the fences.
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s running mate, said Wednesday that despite Vice President Joe Biden’s claims that the middle class is coming back, “this is President Barack Obama’s imaginary recovery.”
“They said that the private sector’s doing just fine – we need more government. This is President Obama’s imaginary recovery. It’s not here. We have a mountain of uncertainty that’s plaguing small businesses,”
Ryan said.
Speaking in Roanoke, Va., the same city where Obama made his controversial statement,
“You didn’t build that,”
Ryan cited statistics to contradict Biden’s claim.
“He just said that the middle class is coming back. We got 23 million people out of work, struggling to find work today. Unemployment has been above eight percent for 42 months, and the real unemployment rate is more like 15 percent. He said last summer was going to be the summer of recovery. It’s a summer later and it’s still worse,”
…Ryan said.
