Charles Krauthammer weighed in on the IRS targeting scandal Tuesday on Special Report after another day of IRS targeting the Tea Party hearings.

Sir Charles issued this warning to Democrats.

After IRS, Benghazi scandals, public trust shifts to GOP

The Democratic Party’s edge over the GOP on who the public trusts more on ethics and corruption issues has flipped in the wake of the IRS and Benghazi scandals, according to Rasmussen Reports.

Not only do voters trust Republicans more now, they have their highest level of confidence in the GOP and the lowest level in Democrats in seven months.

While the Democrats had an eight-point “trust advantage” over Republicans a month ago, Rasmussen’s latest poll said that edge has disappeared and now the GOP has a two-point advantage.

“With growing questions about Benghazi and actions taken by the Internal Revenue Service and the Justice Department, Democrats’ noticeable edge over Republicans in voter trust in the area of government ethics and corruption has disappeared,” said Rasmussen

Massachusett Democrats For Fast Tough Action … Perhaps they See A Problem Ahead

IRS SCANDALS HIT HARD EVEN IN BLUE MASSACHUSETTS: Democrats take  a hard line ….

Frantic Democrats want tough action in the ongoing IRS scandal, fearing the damage that a slow bleed could do to their own electoral futures as President Obama struggles to get out ahead of the issue.

U.S. Rep. Edward J. Markey (D-Malden), running for U.S. Senate, quickly denounced the Internal Revenue Service’s 
actions earlier this week and upped the ante yesterday as the scandal spread, saying, “Whoever did this should be found and fired.”

U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Worcester), one of Massachusetts’ more liberal House members, told the Herald his party in Congress is afraid of the ramifications of the scandals, now collectively known as Obamagate — a threefer encompassing the IRS harassment of conservative groups, the Justice Department’s seizure of Associated Press phone records, and the handling of the Benghazi attacks.

“They do worry about what their constituents think about them and how they respond to these issues,” McGovern said yesterday, adding with regard to the IRS scandal that “anybody connected to this ought to be fired.”

Acting IRS chief Steve Miller resigned Wednesday, but a number of those who oversaw and executed allegedly politically biased policy in the tax-exemption unit remain at the IRS. Democrats demanding action include U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), who called for an “audit” of the IRS, which U.S. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) supports, her spokeswoman said.

Rep. Sandy Levin (D-Mich.) said the acting commissioner of the IRS, Steven Miller, and Lois Lerner, who runs the IRS’s section on tax-exempt organizations, should resign.”

With Washington gripped by a trio of exploding scandals this week – from Benghazi to government spying on news outlets to thug tactics by the Internal Revenue Service – Senate Democrats seem to be hoping that if they just yell loud enough then voters will overlook a key role they played in at least one of them.

They quickly sensed the political toxicity associated with Friday’s admission by the IRS that they selectively targeted conservative organizations for special government scrutiny, and so Democrats didn’t waste any time springing into action. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus of Montana, for example, vowed congressional hearings and called the IRS actions “an outrageous abuse of power and a breach of the public’s trust.”

Hey everybody knows what was going on, what Obama had put the URS up to.

Destroy the Tea Party … So now the Tea Party bites back with lawyers and Congressional Hearings,  Everybody knows that watergate was nothing more than a third rate burglary that the Democrats used to get rid of Nixon with.  And then the lamestream forced him to resign. It was a setup from the start.

So what’s the big deal that Obama would use the IRS to get the Tea Party … And now the IRS admits, they prevented them from getting the exempt status for no reason just harass them. Illegal but what’s the big deal with that …

It’s not that Obama was running guns and missiles to Al Qaeda now is it.

Ways and Means to IRS: ‘Provide All Communications Containing Words ‘Tea Party,’ ‘Patriot,’ or ‘Conservative’—By Wednesday

The House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Oversight has thrown down an investigative gauntlet to the Internal Revenue Service, demanding that the agency hand over by next Wednesday every communication in its records that includes the words “tea party,” “patriot” or “conservative.”

The committee is also demanding of the IRS that by next Wednesday it provide the committee with the names and titles of all individuals who were involved in targeting conservative non-profit groups for more intensive review of their applications for non-profit status.

The request follows a report this morning from the Associated Press that Lois Lerner, director of the IRS Exempt Organizations Division, said at an American Bar Association conference that the IRS had targeted for special review applications of non-profit groups that included the words “tea party” or “patriot.”

Really, you mean AP they knew what they were doing? Well Shazam, blow me down with a feather.

Heck why should they, the Obama administration thinks our laws don’t apply to it, now does it???

Why is the border wide open in defiance of our laws??? Would Obama do that?? What do you mean, ask the border patrol? Why I haven’t heard one media report on that, have you?

So what’s a little obstruction by the IRS of the Tea Party? Who needs tax exempt status anyway? They are just a bunch of Obama hating hacks and racists anyway.

Democrats, the Original Racists, Bigots

PETER BEINART: Yes, Democrats Can Be Racist. And at the moment, they appear to be in denial about it.

If Dick Harpootlian were a Republican, liberals would be jumping over one another to call him a bigot. In 2002 Harpootlian called Lindsey Graham, then running for a South Carolina Senate seat, “light in the loafers,” thus fueling a nasty whispering campaign about Graham’s sexual orientation. Last Friday he struck again, telling activists to “send Nikki Haley”—South Carolina’s Indian-American governor—“back to wherever the hell she came from.”

But Harpootlian isn’t a Republican. Until he retired last Saturday, he was chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party. He made his comments about Haley at the party’s annual dinner, just before Joe Biden took the stage. And as a result, the liberal response has been muted. So far, neither Biden nor Elizabeth Colbert-Busch, whose candidacy for a South Carolina congressional seat has gained national attention, has repudiated Harpootlian’s comments. And for now, at least, conservatives are just about the only ones asking them to.

That’s a problem, because unless offenses like Harpootlian’s are slapped down hard, Democratic Party bigotry is likely to get worse. The reason is simple: the Republican Party is getting more diverse.

Also, Democrats are traditionally the party of racial bigotry. Bull Connor, remember, was a member of the Democratic National Committee. I know this may come as a shock to some, but it is also the Democrats own KKK terror group.
