IRS Targetted Polical Opposition: Conservative Hispanic Groups Targeted In IRS Scandal

It’s time to disband the IRS, and do a flat tax instead …. It would save us lots of time and money.

The Internal Revenue Service scandal involving the apparently unjustified targeting of Tea Party and other conservative groups has also hit home with the Hispanic community.

George Rodriguez, former president of the San Antonio Tea Party, said that when the organization applied for non-profit status, leaders were intimidated by IRS workers with excessive paperwork and meddling questions.

“They asked us all sorts of things that were out of the norm,” Rodriguez, now head of the conservative South Texas Alliance, told Fox News Latino. “We knew these questions were not the norm and we had our suspicions about them.”

Eric Bolling: ‘I Was Audited by IRS After Being Vocal Against 4 More Years of Obama … Coincidence?

 

Press Secretary Jay Carney defended the Obama administration as it faces scrutiny for the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups. Today on The Five, Eric Bolling voiced his concern, saying, “2011, I was pretty vocal against four more years of President Obama. […] I don’t know if it’s coincidence or not but I did get an IRS audit in 2012 for my 2011 tax returns. I’m not sure if there’s any correlation.”

Yes, you read that right: The MSNBC host who in 2008 felt a “thrill going up my leg” after hearing Obama speak has grown disenchanted. Tonight’s episode of Hardball saw Matthews delivering a rare, unforgiving grilling of the president as severe as anything that might appear on Fox News.

“What part of the presidency does Obama like? He doesn’t like dealing with other politicians — that means his own cabinet, that means members of the congress, either party. He doesn’t particularly like the press…. He likes to write the speeches, likes to rewrite what Favreau and the others wrote for the first draft,” Matthews said.

“So what part does he like? He likes going on the road, campaigning, visiting businesses like he does every couple days somewhere in Ohio or somewhere,” Matthews continued. “But what part does he like? He doesn’t like lobbying for the bills he cares about. He doesn’t like selling to the press. He doesn’t like giving orders or giving somebody the power to give orders. He doesn’t seem to like being an executive.”

IRS Scrutiny Went Beyond Tea Party, Targeting of Conservative Groups Broader Than Thought

An IRS campaign to apply additional scrutiny to conservative groups went beyond targeting “Tea Party” and “patriot” groups to include those focused on government spending, the Constitution and several other broad areas. 

The additional guidelines created by the agency were part of a timeline, obtained by Fox News, from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, which is looking into the controversial IRS practice. IRS officials apologized Friday for the scrutiny, but new information suggests senior leaders were apprised of the effort as early as 2011 despite public denials from the top.

Republican lawmakers have vowed to investigate and hold hearings, calling the revelations deeply troubling.

And who wrote those guidelines? I doubt Nixon wrote the IRS guidelines that ended his administration.

 

FBI Was ‘Shocked’ to See Judge ‘Waltz’ in and Give Tsarnaev Miranda Rights

Regular viewers of Fox News are used to seeing popular host Megyn Kelly on their televisions every afternoon, but on Thursday morning Kelly made a special appearance during the morning to break some surprising information: according to her sources, the FBI was “shocked” to see a magistrate “waltz into” the hospital room of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and read him his Miranda rights.

So why were they shocked? According to Kelly, the FBI was under the understanding that they would get much more time with Tsarnaev under the “public safety exemption” before he was read his rights. Adding to the shock: the sources told Kelly agents were getting crucial information after only 16 hours of questioning and were making valuable progress.
No matter.

“It’s really unbelievable,” Kelly said.

Fox News Poll: During a Manhunt, 69 Percent of Voters Want a Gun

Well common sense prevails for at lest 2/3 of the people. The rest are dog meat.

Fox News reports:

A large majority of them do, including half of the people in even non-gun-owning households.

If you were in that situation, would you want a gun at your side?

Most American voters say yes, according to a new Fox News poll.

Sixty-nine percent say if they were in a situation similar to Bostonians, they would want a gun in their house.

That includes a large 88-percent majority of those in gun-owner households, as well as 50 percent of those in non-gun homes. …

In general, more voters think protecting the constitutional right to own a gun is a higher priority than protecting citizens from gun violence (53-42 percent).  That’s mostly unchanged since January, when it was 51-40 percent.

And what about a riot — remember the people drug out during the Rodney King riots?

Bob Beckel: Cut off Muslim students from U.S.

Good thing he is a liberal … Imagine if Rush had said the same things.

One of the most famous liberal voices in America is now suggesting the U.S. cut off Muslim students from coming to America, as well as deporting some of those already here and even sending them to prison.

Bob Beckel, the former campaign director for Democratic presidential candidate Walter Mondale and current co-host of “The Five” on the Fox News Channel, made the bold statement on his show while discussing the Boston bombing suspects, who are Muslim.

“We know that, bottom line, in the Muslim communities around the world, they do not like us. They recruit people from poor areas and turn them into terrorists,” Beckel explained. “It’s not hard to recruit, though, because the hatred for the United States runs deep.”

“I think we really have to consider, that given the fact that so many people hate us, that we’re gonna have to cut off Muslim students from coming to this country for some period of time so that we can at least absorb what we’ve got, look at what we’ve got and decide whether some of the people here should be sent back home or sent to prison,” he continued.

Democrat Joe Manchin: Senate Gun Control Bill Will Not Prevent Another Newtown Massacre

So what is the point. Why not just allow Mayor Bloomberg to use the NYC gun control laws for his security rather than armed body guards? Seems like we already know what feel good liberalism is all about don’t we.

Only and on scene armed guard would have stopped the shooter.

Senator Joe Manchin was on FOX News yesterday discuss his proposed gun control legislation. Joe Manchin admitted his bill will not prevent another Newtown massacre,

“This is not a universal background check. This is a criminal and mental background check at gun shows and internet sales. It does not infringe on your right as a family… It protects the rights of our veterans… They (families of Newtown shooting victims) even recognized that this legislation we’re working on, which is the background checks on criminal and mental illness would not have saved their little babies.”

Then why are Democrats in such a hurry to pass the bill?

And so why don’t we want armed guards in our federally mandated gun free schools?

Murder is already against the law … THINK. What good does that do when trying to stop evil. Yuu cannot ban evil people, only deter their actions once initiated. Honest people know. Obama does not. Force meets force.

The Illegals Are Inundating Our Borders… Vigilante Group Uses Secret Cameras to Record the Flow of Illegals Across the Border

DailyMail reports the following:

A group of private citizens have documented using motion-detector cameras illegal immigrants crossing the border into the United States.

The group, Secure Border Intelligence, also has recorded audio conversations between Border Patrol pilots and agents on the ground which they say document the how porous the border is with Mexico.

‘We haven’t been in that area for hours… we’re being inundated where we’re at,’ one drone pilot says of the border.

‘This is Night Owl on air four. You guys got targets out there?’, one agent is heard on the tapes, obtained by Fox News.

The drone operated responds: ‘Are you kidding me? We just broke the record.’

And in another recording, a helicopter pilot reports: ‘We’re going to need another person over here, we’ve got about 50 bodies out there.’

The group gets the conversations from un-encrypted chats, much like people who listen to police scanners.

They then use that information to track movements and coordinate it with the video footage they record on motion-detector cameras strategically placed along the border.

The recordings, available on the group’s website, show groups of illegal immigrants crossing the border through the desert.
