Imagine That, A Trend Is Developing ,,

March 26, 2013

Who knew … Destroy the family destroy America.

Shock: Claire McCaskill, Who Just Won an Election Four Months Ago and Who Now Doesn’t Stand Again for Re-Election for 6 Years, Suddenly Remembers She’s Pro-Gay Marriage. Well as far as I am concerned you can marry anything you want it still isn’t a marriage. And loving your horse doesn’t change anything in …

If Red States keep electing pink Senators, what can anyone do? Won’t they run out of people soon.

March Mayhem: Heavy Snow Pummels Midwest – Whiteout Closes 154 Miles of I-70

March 24, 2013

Much of Colorado was pummeled with snow Saturday forcing officials to shutdown 154 miles of Interstate 70 to the Kansas border. Winter storm Virgil is moving across the plains tonight and tomorrow. Kansas and Missouri are expecting up to a foot of snow in the next two days.

Snow: ‘we had a barbecue this time last year’

The Weather Channel reported:

Spring has arrived, but Winter Storm Virgil will make it feel like we are in the heart of winter for millions from the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic through this weekend and into Monday.

Virgil has delivered around 8 inches of snow to Denver and 14 inches of snow to Goodland, Kan. as of early Saturday afternoon.

We expect a swath of significant snowfall and increasing winds to now head from Kansas and Nebraska to southern Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio Saturday night through Sunday. Lighter snows will linger into Monday across the Ohio Valley.

Snow accumulations of 4 to 10 inches are likely near and either side of the I-70 corridor as shown on our snowfall forecast graphic. This includes cities such as Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield, Ill., Indianapolis and Columbus, Ohio.

MO Democrat Proposes Gun Ban, 90 Days to Turn in ‘Assault Weapons

February 15, 2013

Missouri Democrat state Rep. Rory Ellinger has put forth H.B. 545, which would ban “assault weapons” and many semi-automatic pistols. It would give owners of said weapons 90 days to either turn them in or get them out of the state.

After 90 days, those in possession of such weapons would face class “C” felony charges.

The legislation defines an “assault weapon” as a rifle with a detachable magazine and any “one or more of the following: a pistol grip or thumbhole stock… protruding grip that can be held by nontrigger hand, a folding or telescoping stock, [or] a shroud attached to the barrel” that protects the shooter from being burned from the heat of barrel.

The legislation also bans semi-automatic pistols with a fixed magazine capable of holding more than 10 rounds or a detachable magazine and “one or more of the following” features: “a protruding grip,” “a folding stock,” or “a shroud attached to the barrel” that protects the shooter from being burned from the heat of the barrel…

Another loser, makes a gun grab proposal.

I hope everyone sees the direction this is all trending … Despite the fact that CCW laws  lower the violent crime rate, wherever they are tried, the liberals cannot allow the ordinary citizens to have the means of their own defense on their person. It’s what tyrants do … to subjects.

At Least Six States Will Take Legislative Action Against Obama’s New Gun Control Laws

January 16, 2013

At least six states say they are seriously considering taking some sort of legislative action against the government on the new gun control laws. They include Alabama, Missouri, South Carolina, Montana, Texas andWyoming. Many more sheriffs around the country are also calling for action.

Missouri Farmers See Rise In Hay Thefts

December 4, 2012

Now people are stealing HAY. It’s an Obama world. Stealing dirt next???

Hay theft:

Missouri Farm Bureau president Blake Hurst says thieves are actually targeting those big bundles of hay that are left out in fields prior to being harvested, hauling them off and selling the valuable commodity.

“Of course, no one brands their hay so if you hook onto it with your tractor or your pickup and make it out the gate, then it’s impossible to prove where the hay came from,” Hurst said.

With winter approaching and grass dying out, the price for fresh hay to feed livestock is on the rise, and Hurst says that makes unguarded bales a tempting target.

Ironically, it’s because of the ongoing drought that fresh hay has become so valuable with the winter season fast approaching.

And it’s not just Missouri. This trend is happening in farm states across the country, so much so that some are now putting global positioning trackers inside their bales, in case they’re stolen.

McCaskill Says $40 Million Stimulus Cash Her Family Got Went to Property Updates

October 10, 2012

Missouri royalty - The rest of the country has suffered but Claire McCaskill and her husband Joseph Shepard have done very well these past five years.

The federal government paid nearly $40 million dollars to Claire McCaskill’s husband’s businesses her first five years in office as Missouri Senator. During that time McCaskill hadinfluence over federal policy that directly affected her family’s income.

Direct payback it’s called kickback … for votes on Obamacare…. And who benefits from the “updates”?

The Claire McCaskill campaign told reporters yesterday that the $40 million in Stimulus cash her family received went to property updates.

KMOV reported:

More sparks are flying in the Missouri Senate race as Senator Claire McCaskill faces questions about her husband receiving tens of millions of dollars in federal subsidies.

News 4 has been looking into the story and reached out to both campaigns.

While Akin’s campaign didn’t seem to want to talk about it, McCaskill’s campaign came back quickly to answer where the $40 million came from and where it went.

‘This is another baseless unfounded attack by congressman akin,” said McCaskill spokeswoman Caitlin Legacki.

But the story actually came from an Associated Press investigation into federal money that went to McCaskill’s husband.

Reportedly he collected $40 million for low income housing developments that he owns—money that supplements rent for poor families.

If actions speak louder than words then Akin’s campaign said it all, by jumping on the report on Akin’s twitter page, and using it against McCaskill.

McCaskill’s campaign is quick to point out the money went straight into a regulated property account used to improve the low income housing and didn’t benefit her family. But did it improve the value of the properties?

It’s not every American family that received $40 million in stimulus cash to improve their housing developments.

But Claire McCaskill’s family did.

Forgiveness

August 21, 2012

Can Todd Akin hang onto his Republican nomination for the US Senate after a disastrous interview over the weekend, in which he questioned the legitimacy of rape claims from women who got impregnated by their assaulters?  He’s giving it a try, with a new ad out this morning called “Forgiveness,” which ends the explanations and instead offers a mea maxima culpa while promising to get tough on rapists

The ad itself seems like a message that Akin still has no intention of dropping out before today’s 5 PM deadline in Missouri.  It’s unclear whether Akin had the ad buys to put this on TV in the state today at all, or if that inventory is available otherwise.  It would have to go into rotation for a while before anyone could calculate the impact of Akin’s apology, and whether voters believe it to be sincere.  One thing seems sure: his mortification is sincere.

PPP polled the state in the wake of Akin’s comments, and found that … nothing much really changed:

Missouri voters strongly disagree with the comments Todd Akin made about abortion over the weekend, but it hasn’t moved the numbers a whole lot in the Senate race. Akin leads Claire McCaskill by a single point, 44-43. That’s basically identical to our last poll of the contest in late May, which found Akin ahead by a 45-44 spread.

There’s another problem with this poll for Akin, one we don’t usually see from PPP — they significantly oversampled Republicans.  The D/R/I on this survey is R+9 at 30/39/32, but even the GOP-sweep 2010 election had exit polls for Missouri showing an R+3 advantage, 34/37/28. I’m not sure I’d trust that one-point margin lead in this poll.

Missouri: Claire McCaskill Trails All Three Potential Republican Opponents

July 28, 2012

Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill announced a while back that she’ll skip the Democrat convention, ostensibly to remain in the state to campaign. According to the latest poll, however, McCaskill might better serve her campaign by getting away for a while :

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) trails all three of her potential Republican rivals, according to a new survey conducted for two Missouri news outlets, cementing her status as this cycle’s most vulnerable incumbent.

Businessman John Brunner (R) holds the largest advantage over McCaskill, leading by a 52 perent to 41 percent margin. Former state Treasurer Sarah Steelman (R) leads by a 49 percent to 41 percent margin. And Rep. Todd Akin (R) leads by a 49 percent to 44 percent margin.

McCaskill’s big problems come among independent voters. She scores just 40 percent among independents against Akin, and she’s mired in the mid-30s when she’s matched up with Brunner and Steelman.

McCaskill said she’s asked President Obama to come and campaign for her, but there’s little upside to that for either of them:

the Missouri poll shows Obama trails Mitt Romney by a 51 percent to 42 percent margin.

The odds are better that Jay Carney will name the capital of Israel before anybody is able to snap a photo of Obama and McCaskill together between now and November 6th.

Brad Pitt’s Mom In Fear After Slamming Obama

July 10, 2012

It’s like elections in any old third world pit, the USA election are degenerating into a gansta rap. When I was a little kid I got first hand look at the Democrat terror operation. At that time it was good old boys driving the neighborhood in their pickup with sheets on. They were led by sheriff’s deputies in regular uniform, driving the county sheriff’s cars with the lights on, for effect. As they swooped to and fro through our neighborhood, they wanted to make sure their Democrat candidates won.

This is not quite as bad as a pre-MLK period, but it is ramping up. What my dad would say as we stood at our front door, only God and you will know how you vote, so be polite to the people outside. always say yes to them, then they leave. As my dad said, that was the goal. This was in southern Mississippi, where my father served as an Air Force navigator-bombardier on B-29s. He was the commander at a training school, at Keesler Air Force Mississippi. Never forgot those days when I met the KKK face to face at ten years old.

So it can get nasty out there. As Wisconsin proved, the days of Democrats intimidating voters to vote their way or else, has ended. I guess we have moved to the “or else” phase.

Brad Pitts mom, may need some extra help to watch her. She’s obviously not a Democrat Obama voter.

Jane Pitt, mother of actor Brad Pitt, has been scared into silence by the hate-filled, vulgar and even violent reaction to her public assertion that Barack Obama is “a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.”

Pitt has even been the subject of death threats following her letter to the editor of Missouri’s Springfield News-Leader in which she asserted failure to vote for Republican presumptive presidential candidate Mitt Romney constituted a vote for Obama.

WND spoke briefly with Pitt and asked about the media assault against her for her comments as a private citizen supporting Romney. With inflections in her voice that conveyed fear and despair, she quietly and politely said she was not interested in talking to anyone in the media about the incident.

Be safe, always say yes, vote for who you want. The calls at our place are heavy, so it’s on.

Abandon Ship: Obama Pal Claire McCaskill Skipping Democratic Convention

June 26, 2012

Toxic Obama? In Missouri?

I don’t get it.

Claire McCaskill will not be attending the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, a McCaskill aide confirmed to TPM Tuesday. McCaskill joins a list of vulnerable Democratic politicians whose home districts are hostile ground for President Obama and who will be steering clear of the convention.

Why wouldn’t a first-term Democratic incumbent up for reelection in an increasingly red state want a photo op with the Unicorn Prince? I think the operative word is venerable. I bet that Obamacare vote didn’t help.

“In years when Claire is on the ballot, she has historically not gone to the convention,” the aide said, “because she believes it’s important to stay in Missouri to talk to voters.”

She was among the first senators to endorse Obama over presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton in 2008, doing so just five days after Hillary’s big win in New Hampshire.

National Journal, she was defiant in standing by her Obama:

Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., makes clear to the St. Louis Beacon that she won’t be running and hiding from President Obama, even as she faces a tough reelection bid in a state the president’s almost certainly not going to win.

OK, so tell me, what would you call it then?

McCaskill said she will be asking Obama to stump for her and help her raise money, but added that she doesn’t always agree with him.

Like He did in Wisconsin???

Vulnerable Democrats in comparable positions should take notice. Opponents will tie McCaskill to Obama no matter what she does: She was a major surrogate in 2008 and there are plenty of photos of the two for TV ads (Republican John Brunner has already run one tying the two together). Running away from Obama will only generate negative press coverage (when McCaskill missed an early October Obama fundraiser, that was a story).

Eight months later, here she is running away. I wonder what finally convinced her. Was it his gay marriage “evolution”?

Sniff the winds, they spell loser.
