The Lies Of Obama-Kare

January 19, 2011

As the US House prepares to repeal ObamaKare today, Paul Ryan reminded us yesterday just how dishonest democrats were in passing this monumental piece of legislation.

If you want to understand the actual cost of the ObamaKare no one explains it better than Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI).

Democrats claim the bill will cut the deficit by using phony accounting tricks. Paul Ryan explains how ObamaKare is the largest tax increase in US history.

ObamaKace To Worsen Doctor Shortage

October 1, 2010

Yep, it’s ObamaKare again, you remember when the conservatives warned of this, well it was true, again. Right up there with the death panels, and tens of millions losing their insurance … the list of things America was warned about ObamaKare, just keeps getting longer.

Only 50% worse than previously thought:

The U.S. healthcare reform law will worsen a shortage of physicians as millions of newly insured patients seek care, the Association of American Medical Colleges said on Thursday.

The group’s Center for Workforce Studies released new estimates that showed shortages would be 50 percent worse in 2015 than forecast.

Examiner Editorial: Obamacare Is Even Worse Than Critics Thought

September 23, 2010

Don’t say we didn’t tell you …

Six months ago, President Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rammed Obamacare down the throats of an unwilling American public. Half a year removed from the unprecedented legislative chicanery and backroom dealing that characterized the bill’s passage, we know much more about the bill than we did then. A few of the revelations:

» Obamacare won’t decrease health care costs for the government. According to Medicare’s actuary, it will increase costs. The same is likely to happen for privately funded health care.

» As written, Obamacare covers elective abortions, contrary to Obama’s promise that it wouldn’t. This means that tax dollars will be used to pay for a procedure millions of Americans across the political spectrum view as immoral. Supposedly, the Department of Health and Human Services will bar abortion coverage with new regulations but these will likely be tied up for years in litigation, and in the end may not survive the court challenge.

» Obamacare won’t allow employees or most small businesses to keep the coverage they have and like. By Obama’s estimates, as many as 69 percent of employees, 80 percent of small businesses, and 64 percent of large businesses will be forced to change coverage, probably to more expensive plans.

» Obamacare will increase insurance premiums — in some places, it already has. Insurers, suddenly forced to cover clients’ children until age 26, have little choice but to raise premiums, and they attribute to Obamacare’s mandates a 1 to 9 percent increase. Obama’s only method of preventing massive rate increases so far has been to threaten insurers.

» Obamacare will force seasonal employers — especially the ski and amusement park industries — to pay huge fines, cut hours, or lay off employees.

» Obamacare forces states to guarantee not only payment but also treatment for indigent Medicaid patients. With many doctors now refusing to take Medicaid (because they lose money doing so), cash-strapped states could be sued and ordered to increase reimbursement rates beyond their means.

» Obamacare imposes a huge nonmedical tax compliance burden on small business. It will require them to mail IRS 1099 tax forms to every vendor from whom they make purchases of more than $600 in a year, with duplicate forms going to the Internal Revenue Service. Like so much else in the 2,500-page bill, our senators and representatives were apparently unaware of this when they passed the measure.

» Obamacare allows the IRS to confiscate part or all of your tax refund if you do not purchase a qualified insurance plan. The bill funds 16,000 new IRS agents to make sure Americans stay in line.

If you wonder why so many American voters are angry, and no longer give Obama the benefit of the doubt on a variety of issues, you need look no further than Obamacare, whose birthday gift to America might just be a GOP congressional majority.

Repeal ObamaKare

August 16, 2010

This can’t be good for Democrats rolling into midterms. Maybe that’s why Democrats being encouraged not to mention it. It was 57% want repeal last month. Trending badly.

Support for repeal of the health care reform bill is at its highest level in over a month, while the number of voters who believe repeal will be good for the economy has reached a new high.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that 60% at least somewhat favor repeal of the health care reform law, while 36% oppose repeal.

Those numbers include 50% who Strongly Favor repeal and 26% who Strongly Oppose it.

I wonder what people will think as they learn more about the death panels and the overt racism in the treatment of health. Basically it means that what people have worked their whole life for is being denied now, by government fiat.

So how is that, we have to pass the law so you can know what is in the law going for you Democrats?

Judge Refuses To Dismiss ObamaKare Suit

August 2, 2010

U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson refused to dismiss the state’s lawsuit which argues the law’s requirement that its residents have health insurance was unconstitutional, allowing the challenge to go forward.

NBC’s Pete Williams reports that this is a tactical victory for Virginia. The Justice Department asked the judge to throw the suit out, arguing that the state had no legal standing to sue.

BTW: This is the challenge that says the government has no ability to force American citizens to buy health care insurance, or anything else for that matter. Next, will government motors force Americans to buy Obama’s Electric Lemons?

July 18, 2010

ObamaKare this won’t happen. How do I know, he said so. And how do I know he is telling the truth? Because he lies about near everything but wouldn’t lie about things like this. Would he?

A cash crisis in the NHS has left patients lying on the operating table before doctors realised vital equipment had not been ordered, according to a leaked report.

Women in labour have been forced to wait while epidural equipment was borrowed from other hospitals, while other patients have been denied chest drains and radiology supplies, according to doctors at South London Healthcare Trust.
