HANNITY EXPLODES AT FORMER OBAMA ADVISER AFTER HE TRIES TO DEFEND OBAMA’S MUSIC PARTY: ‘YOU’RE ON DRUGS! YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS!’

April 10, 2013

The sequestration celebration party.

Last Night’s Event!!!

“Cry me a river.”

“You’re on Drugs! You can’t be serious!”

“Living in an alternate universe.”

“Hypnotic trance.”

Those are just some of the phrases Sean Hannity used during a dressing down of former Obama economic adviser Austin Goolsbee on Fox Tuesday night.

Hannity invited Goolsbee on to respond to President Obama’s latest music party (called a “Memphis Soul” night) at the White House on Tuesday. Hannity called it a “sequestration celebration” (as we first mentioned on Tuesday), and used it as an opportunity to accuse the president about not really being serious about all the doom-and-gloom the administration has been preaching about the reductions to planned spending increases (sequester).

Goolsbee tried to defend the president and the current economic climate by firs saying things are “getting better” and later adding that Obama has given up $20k worth of his salary in an attempt to empathize with the American people. That set Hannity off: “Cry me a river.” That quickly turned into “You’re on drugs! You can’t be serious!” when Hannity compared $20k to the cost of fueling Air Force One to go on vacation.

Goolsbee tried to say that Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher also took trips and threw lavish parties, to which Hannity retorted that that was during a time of prosperity.

And that led to another great moment: Goolsbee making an analogy about “Whoppers” and “fries.” Hannity later accused the former adviser of having an Obama statue at his house and “living in an alternate universe” and “in a hypnotic trance.”

The Real Legacy of Margaret Thatcher, Britain’s Iron Lady

April 8, 2013

What a sad day.  Reagan’s fellow stalwart and irreplaceable ally against Communism, Margaret Thatcher, has died.

Like President Ronald Reagan, her political soulmate, Margaret Thatcher came to power at a desperate time in her country’s history, when real leadership and bold ideas were most needed. And by applying conservative principles to the challenges she faced, she was able to achieve real and lasting success. Then, as today, she faced an extraordinary set of challenges and a chorus of voices saying her country’s best days were behind it. Thatcher’s successes are a comforting reminder of the power of a bold, conservative vision at work.

Worth looking at Obama in the light she displays…. She actually knows what’s wrong with our economy. And why Obama won’t fix it….

WOLF: Shaking the Moss off the GOP

April 3, 2013

Massive failure … It’s not that we don’t like Big Government it’s just that we want to be our big government and run it.

And you thought Pres Lincoln had it bad. GOP thy name is failure.

Would you invest in a company with a string of failures as sweeping as the GOP establishment’s? Mitt Romney, John McCain and (It’s his turn) Bob Dole: All are products of the establishment, and all are failed candidates who opened the doors to the Obama and Clinton eras.

Even when establishment candidates do manage to win office — George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush — it’s a stretch to call their presidencies successful. The only undeniably successful Republican president of the modern era — Ronald Reagan — reached the White House by overcoming the opposition of the GOP establishment. Now the Gipper is considered to be among the greatest presidents in American history.

This pattern continues in the Senate. Today’s Republican superstars were yesterday’s GOP primary enemies: Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio. Now the Republican establishment hopes you’ll forget that they opposed these men just as they did Reagan.

The GOP establishment does not pick winners. Consider former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, the establishment’s choice for senator. When primary voters chose Mr. Rubio instead, the contemptible Mr. Crist abandoned the party to run an independent campaign against Mr. Rubio and has now even become a registered Democrat. Never forget that this is the repugnant figure who the GOP insiders supported instead of Mr. Rubio.

Now Karl Rove — the consummate insider — has launched his so-called Conservative Victory Project to protect entrenched Republicans against future Marco Rubios. Imagine that: The man who pushed George W. Bush’s government explosion, including “no bureaucrat left behind” at the Department of Education, the largest expansion of Medicare in the history of the program and the TARP bank bailouts, now wants to choose your candidates.

MCCAIN APOLOGIZES FOR CALLING RAND PAUL AND TED CRUZ ‘WACKO BIRDS’, SAYS ‘I RESPECT THEM BOTH’

March 16, 2013

Well isn’t this just special. Someone lost the bidding? It’s a start…. At somepoint the old needs to just step aside, and let new people and their ideas take a shot at running things, with new ideas. As Rubio said recentely, we need to renew our commitment to America and her lost ideals not try some socialist nanny state crap out. We already know that always fails.

We don’t want a Castro type,  now do we.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) has been criticized heavily for attacking Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) following Paul’s historic filibuster focused on drone strikes. The senator from Arizona called them “wacko birds” in a previous interview with the Huffington Post.

On Friday, McCain formally apologized, saying it was “inappropriate” to name call after Fox News’ Neil Cavuto asked him about his recent exchanges with Paul and Cruz, both rising stars within the GOP.

Spokes Kid Says — Lamestream Is to Tell The Story Reagan Did It

March 4, 2013

Government can’t do with one dime less. Reagan caused the problem, And our Brave ‘lil Dictator has got to fix it ….

And what was it President Reagan did, he fixed the giant mess left by the incompetent boob Carter, and created over 20 million new jobs. Remember the Laffer curve? Reagan relied on the free market instead of the Carter malaise

Not so smart Spokes Kid Orders — You Got Your Orders Media … Now do your job blame Reagan:

White House Spokesman Jay Carney channeled former President Ronald Reagan in the White House briefing Tuesday, suggesting President Obama’s  position on raising the debt ceiling mirrors that of the fiscally conservative  icon. As House Republicans pushed forward on a clean but doomed debt limit vote  that some say is aimed more at political gamesmanship than legislative action,  the administration suggested they all rally around the Gipper.

Bob Woodward Calls Out Obama For Sequestration “Madness”

February 28, 2013

As the clock ticks down to the implementation of President Obama’s sequester. The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward is blasting President Obama today for using the law as a way to put our national security at risk.

Woodward was on Morning Joe this morning:

“Kind of Madness

February 27, 2013

What would Bob Woodward be possibly ta;ling about. GOP: ‘Clear violation’ of law…??? Nixonian Obama?

Bob Woodward on Wednesday accused President Barack Obama of acting with a “kind of madness” in his handling of the automatic spending cuts set to take effect Friday.

Woodward, credited with bringing down Richard Nixon along with fellow Washington Post reporter Carl Bernstein, appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” to discuss his ongoing war of words with the White House over its handling of the impending sequester.

“I think peoples’ heads are about to explode about all of this, you know, what the hell is going on here?” Woodward said Wednesday. “I’m not sure the White House understands exactly what happened in all of these negotiation at the end of 2011 with the sequester and the super committee, because they were really on the sidelines.”

He continued, turning his attention to the White House’s recent claim that spending cuts would prohibit it from deploying aircraft carriers to the Persian Gulf.

“Can you imagine Ronald Reagan sitting there and saying ‘Oh, by the way, I can’t do this because of some budget document?’” Woodward said.

“Or George W. Bush saying, ‘You know, I’m not going to invade Iraq because I can’t get the aircraft carriers I need’ or even Bill Clinton saying, ‘You know, I’m not going to attack Saddam Hussein’s intelligence headquarters,’ as he did when Clinton was president because of some budget document?”

he added.

“Under the Constitution, the president is commander-in-chief and employs the force. And so we now have the president going out because of this piece of paper and this agreement, I can’t do what I need to do to protect the country. That’s a kind of madness that I haven’t seen in a long time.”

BOB WOODWARD: Obama Is Showing ‘A Kind Of Madness I Haven’t Seen In A Long Time’

February 27, 2013

You can see it yourself, it’s like a two year old kid, when he doesn’t get his way …

Business Insider writes:

The Washington Post‘s Bob Woodward ripped into President Barack Obama on “Morning Joe” today, saying he’s exhibiting a “kind of madness I haven’t seen in a long time” for a decision not to deploy an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf because of budget concerns.

“Can you imagine Ronald Reagan sitting there and saying, ‘Oh, by the way, I can’t do this because of some budget document?’” Woodward said.

“Or George W. Bush saying, ‘You know, I’m not going to invade Iraq because I can’t get the aircraft carriers I need?’” Or even Bill Clinton saying, ‘You know, I’m not going to attack Saddam Hussein’s intelligence headquarters,’ … because of some budget document?”

Good evening. I’m Marco Rubio. I’m blessed to represent Florida in the United States Senate. Let me begin by congratulating President Obama on the start of his second term.
