Indian squaw Falters : Elizabeth Warren still is not Cherokee. She never was.

October 4, 2012

The Legal Insurrection writes:

Her family lore is grossly exaggerated, in all likelihood by Warren herself not her parents. Yet whenever anyone questions this family lore, Warren acts like it is an attack on her family, thereby shutting down challenges to the stories.

Warren relies on family lore because it’s hard to disprove what she claims she was told. It’s why Warren digs in deeper with her family lore stories as the campaign goes on. She thinks she has found a safe place.

Yet there is plenty of evidence that the story about her parents eloping because her mother was Native American is not true, Warren didn’t self-identify as Native American until she was 38 and climbing the law professor ladder, and even her own adult nephew who researched family genealogy called the Native American claim just rumor. The Boston Globe’s attempt to back up this family lore actually ended up calling it into serious question.

But, while Warren thinks she has found a safe place in her family lore, it’s still worth pointing out that she is not Cherokee. The Cherokee line supposedly was through her maternal grandparents, the Crawfords.

But just to put another piece of evidence on the table, real Cherokee genealogist Twila Barnes has come up a newspaper clipping from the Muskogee Times Democrat on August 17, 1906.

The newspaper clipping relates to a story about how Warren’s great grandfather, John H. Crawford, shot a real Indian and was identified in the newspaper as white.

The lies Democrats tell to try and get ahead, never ending…

Obama: If You’ve Been Successful You Didn’t Get There On Your Own

July 19, 2012

Listen to this loon again. Understand what he is saying. How are the roads around your place? The bridges OK. This is how liberals think. And loons like Obama and Warren.

Tell me he doesn’t hate America … He is nothing more than a Marxist at his core. The mask has slipped and finally he is telling Americans who he really is. He isn’t no Cherokee loon, like Warren. He is a Marxists, and this explains that in full. Still a loon.

Face facts Obama hates America, and how it was founded. He hates freedom and liberty.

Listen carefully.

Ask yourself, is this a US President, or an alien. A foreigner who just beached with his communist beliefs intact.

The meaning of the Constitution and natural born, a person born to two existing US citizens. Obama was born to one leftists mother, and a Kenyan anti-colonialist father. He is the foreigner, not American.

All you need know to understand Obama.

These Hands …

“My father’s hands didn’t build this company? My hands didn’t build this company? My son’s hands aren’t building this company? Did somebody else take out the loan on my father’s house to finance the equipment?” asks New Hampshire business owner Jack Gilchrist who, along with his family, operates Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Company.

“Did somebody else make payroll every week or figure out where it’s coming from? President Obama, you’re killing us out here. Through hard work and a little bit of luck, we built this business. Why are you demonizing us for it? We are the solution, not the problem,” he adds.

As it turns out, if you go around implying a guy’s a possible felon, mock his wife for her multiple sclerosis therapy, and then tell him to “put on his big boy pants” when he questions your tactics, he might do just that.

What we’re trying to say is that everyone has a breaking point and Team Obama may have found Mitt Romney’s.

Yep that’s what Romney did, and has to continue doing.

Chief Spouting Bull: Harvard Throws Elizabeth Warren Under the Bus

May 28, 2012

It’s getting downright funny … Why do liars behave this way when caught?

Elizabeth Warren can no longer count Harvard University among her advocates in the unfolding scandal of her professed Native American heritage.

In the reaction to the Boston Globe’s controversial article on Harvard’s EEOC reports which listed Elizabeth Warren as a Native American, one particular revelation has gone largely unnoticed. Alan Ray, the administrator who filed diversity reports during Warren’s tenure, distances the university from any responsibility for erroneously listing her as a Native American.

[Ray] said through a spokeswoman that he “never encouraged any faculty member to list himself or herself in a particular way.” Ray added that Harvard “always accepted whatever identification a faculty member wanted to provide,” a characterization another highly placed former Harvard administrator backed up.

In previous reports by Breitbart News, there has been no definitive evidence–no silver bullet–that Warren is the one who volunteered the idea she was a minority. The evidence discovered by authors John Sexton and Michael Patrick Leahy suggest it is very likely, but the possibility has not yet been established as fact. However, with this statement, Harvard has denied the only other likely explanation for EEOC reports listing Warren as a Native American.

Bow Wow Chow : Like Warren, Obama Claims Cherokee Ancestry–But Offers No Proof

May 22, 2012

Trying to fix the composited Warren with the composited President, ehhh? Gluing together life stories to fix images, does not work. For instance, who thinks our Muslim Indonesian father’s ‘son” is not Muslim? Hah, that would be a stretch. Who thinks our compositied President is American, and his bio written at age 30 is real? Who writes their Bio at age 30?

Have you seen anyone do that? and why would they do that, unless they wanted you to believe it. How about an American {resident bowing to tyrants and dictators?

‘Pow Wow Chow’: Elizabeth Warren Touted Native Roots In ’84 Cookbook

May 17, 2012

Original Article

Elizabeth Warren was touting her claim of Cherokee heritage as early as 1984, according to a cookbook titled “Pow Wow Chow” edited by her cousin that includes Warren’s recipes for a savory crab omelet and spicy barbecued beans. The cookbook, edited by Warren’s cousin Candy Rowsey, is a compilation of “special recipes passed down through the Five Tribes families,” according to the introduction in a copy obtained by the Herald. Warren, who has been under fire for claiming Indian lineage despite a lack of documentation, is identified as “Elizabeth Warren, Cherokee” under each of five recipes.

OK that settles it.

Chief Pants On Fire

May 8, 2012

(Le·gal In·sur·rec·tion) In what may be the ultimate and cruelest irony, not only is it unlikely that Elizabeth Warren’s great-great-great grandmother was Cherokee, it turns out that Warren’s great-great-great grandfather was a member of a militia unit which participated in the round-up of the Cherokees in the prelude to the Trail of Tears.

The evidence resulted from a tip provided by a Legal Insurrection reader to a genealogical compilation of militia members who allegedly participated in the removal of the Cherokees from Georgia.  The list included the name Jonathan Crawford, who was the husband of O.C. Sarah Smith, the person the Warren campaign has identified as Warren’s great-great-great grandmother and allegedly Cherokee.

Elizabeth Warren — Cherokee Nation, And The Cigar Store Indian Senate Canidate

May 4, 2012

No one whiter than a liar. A one percenter to boot. Hello #OCCUPY … Oops no interest because she is a good liberal? Stick the drums back in you pants.

My Aunt Bee and Elizabeth Warren gives new meaning to the expression “phony liberals.” She’s a millionaire class warrior, boldly putting her mouth where her a$$ is. She’s about as authentic as a wooden cigar store Indian, and just as Indian. She listed herself as a Native American all the way up the greasy pole of legal academia, so long as it could do her some good, until she arrived at Harvard Law School. And then it was deleted from the list as it was no longer useful, and besides, someone might notice the obvious.

Can you be a class warrior and still be a millionaire? Tricky sell.

Give us an authentic Cherokee Indian yell …

The Boston Herald quotes Warren explaining:

“I listed myself in the directory in the hopes that it might mean that I would be invited to a luncheon, a group, something that might happen with people who are like I am.”

It’s a shame no one ever invited her to lunch with Ward Churchill. It would have spared her the current heartache.

Warren adds:

“Being Native American has been part of my story I guess since the day I was born.”

John Fund cruelly notes, however, that:

“she has never mentioned her Native American heritage while she has been a Senate candidate.”

Has she mentioned it since she joined the faculty at Harvard?

Warren is staking her claim to bona fide Native American on high cheekbones.

I wonder what single characteristic she would ascribe to blacks??? That ought to produce some interesting debate.

But isn’t this what liberals do, put people into categories? I would put her in the COMMUNIST toast bin.

UPDATE: William Jacobson has more if you can take it.

She brings truth to the old Groucho Marx joke — “Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes”

Who Needs Innovation? GM To Cut A Quarter Of Research And Development Jobs

May 1, 2012

Funny how government companies work, as opposed to normal market driven ones. What need to you have for market share when you have government share.

General Motors plans to cut about a quarter of the workers at its r&d facility at the Warren Technical Center in suburban Detroit, part of a broader reorganization of its r&d operation.

GM plans to lay off about 100 of the roughly 400 r&d workers at the Warren complex, according to a person with knowledge of the plans. Another 90 r&d people at a GM research facility in India will be let go, the source said.

Most of GM’s global r&d employees are based in Warren.

At all costs, we must maintain the Union.
