The Costs of Free Healthcare

First, let’s clear one thing up … No money, none, nada is spent by any President or agency unless first authorized by the U.S. House of Representatives. So all those yelling “Bush deficits” are either flat out lying, or hope you don’t know the truth.

They are all Congress’ deficits, Congress’ unemployment, Congress’ misery.  And Nancy Pelosi’s runs Congress so they are Nancy Pelosi’s deficits. Nancy Pelosi has run the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2007,  In the third quarter of 2008 the current recession started.

If this doesn’t work for you, the Obama voted, while in the Senate, for every big spending Bush bill since 2004. Yep, every one, TARP, first stimulus package, you name it — Obama was right there.

Second, there is no free lunch, or free healthcare, or free anything.

White House economic adviser Lawrence H. Summers claimed in April on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that President Obama’s government health-insurance program would pay for itself. He promised there was so much waste and inefficiency in private insurance that a government system could save $700 billion a year just by eliminating unnecessary surgery. He said waste from surgery alone accounted for 30 percent of all health care spending in America.

This is just an outright lie.

Michelle Malkin has a post on the “patient dumping scheme” that Michelle Obama developed for her no-show job at University of Chicago Medical Center. A $300,000 a year job she got after Sen Obama got the hospital a big fat grant from the U.S. taxpayers. See how thug politics works?
