Iranian Drone Depends On Photoshop

The Iranians have made much of their new drone which they claim can take off and land vertically. It is a great feat of technology and the pictures were shown to put the fear of God into the mind of any would be invaders from Israel or the US.

However it appears that the picture, which showed the drone taking off from a roof, had been a little photoshopped. It appears that the original picture had been of the drone taking off of the roof of Japan’s Chiba University, which built it. It is certainly not Iran’s version of it, if that really exists. The photoshop spot was made by Gary Mortimer, a blogging pilot who photo-sleuthed the Iranian drone, the KOKER 1, when it was unveiled on November 7.

This isn’t the first time Iran has been caught photoshopping reality. It tried to show a snap from the disaster pic the Day After Tomorrow as a real scene of Hurricane Sandy’s aftermath, and in 2008 the Iranian government released some doctored photos of a successful rocket launch. We expect new footage of the drone to come out in a few weeks when the country’s propaganda teams upgrade to CS6, if they can get the software into the country.

Al Gore does it much better.

That is interesting you would say that…because when I first started reading the article, I thought to myself; “They are NOT that smart”… unless they stole the plans.
    Then I read on.
Think about it…the ONLY way Iran could have such a sophisticated Drone is IF they stole the plans and had someone else make it.

When you have time, Google: Nobel Prize Winners….Lord! Those people in Israel have brilliant scientists; but I do NOT recall any of them being from Iraq, Iran, etc.
