72,600,000 People On Medicaid

May 31, 2013

72,600,000: Record Number on Medicaid…

Medicaid is the United States health program for families and individuals with low income and resources.

Quite an accomplish.

72,600,000 were enrolled in Medicaid for at least one month in fiscal 2012, up from 71,700,000 in fiscal 2011, according to the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission(MACPAC), which provides an annual report to Congress on Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program.

The 72,600,000 enrolled in Medicaid in the United States in 2012 was more than the 65,630,692 people who lived in France last year, according to data published by the Census Bureau, or the 63,047,162 people who lived in the United Kingdom.

Record Unemployment, Low Inflation Underline Europe’s Pain

May 31, 2013

Central bankers, flooding the world with currency has it’s consequences, and gainful employment does not appear as one of the benefit of printing large quantities of FIAT money as unemployment, people have gainful work, hits an all time high in Europe.

Working for Big Government is providing, not to work at all … Only printing press maintenance which is now mostly digital and software, is not meaningful. Keynesian economics goes flop.

Same as FDR found in the 1930s, the Fabian Socialist dream of Corporate Socialism, epic fail. You can see the results of central bankers trying to manage the world’s economy, we have no economy at all. Division of government spoils — Corporate Socialism … We only want big businesses only, no small, because we can’t control the small fry businesses.

Can you see how well the world is running on the new “green economy”??? Just look at the successful, green companies. For example, show me Obama’s successful green investments in the new green economy? OK, so there are none. But 10’s of billions have been wasted. Yep same in Euro zone nations, where their government sank more money than Obama in the “green shoots”, which did not succeed. And failed in a very spectacular fashion … So much so the Euro zone has largely abandoned their green economy. It did not work.

So you think they will give up? Did FDR give up on his alphabet soup agencies. Nope he just made the Great Depression worse. WWII stopped FDR’s insanity … Ending his great depression. Except it was not worldwide, like it is right now.

Capitalism is the answer we seek, but with the world being run by socialist, they cannot see it. So it’s up to “We the people”. And in this case it’s the people of the world. The Central Bankers have failed the world. What’s next. Who knows.

“Euro zone” headlines …

19.4 million out of work…

1 in 4 young people jobless…

‘Blockupy’ protesters surround Central Bank…

India slowest growth in decade…

And let’s not forget Japan

Japan deflation ebbs, output up; BOJ target still elusive

Here is the Reuters story with all the excuses it generates as to why …

Unemployment has reached a new high in the Euro zone and inflation remains well below the European Central Bank’s target, underscoring just how severe a challenge EU leaders face to revive the bloc’s sickly economy.

Unemployment has reached a new high in the Euro zone and inflation remains well below the European Central Bank’s target, underscoring just how severe a challenge EU leaders face to revive the bloc’s sickly economy.

The Fabian Socialists our whatever name they now use for themselves, better plan for the world, because the one we got is so unfair, to the little guy … Our plan is now crippling the little guy … Ugh.

Capitalism has lifted more people from poverty, than all the other world experiments of the isms. Starting with the grand and glorious communism, Nazism, and all the flavors tried by FDR and Woodrow Wilson.

It’s all the same and results in the same answer … THEY DO NOT WORK. So Obama’s grand experiment with devaluing your money and our currency to try and make things fair, has failed. The Fabian Socialists thought if only they could get the USA to follow them destroy their Constitution they would succeed.

NOPE —  Capitalism is the world’s answer that they seek … It’s been right in front of the tyrants eyes, all along.

Yes tyrants. because that is what the central bankers of the world are trying to do, rule the people of the world, so there will be no more war.

Latest Project Veritas Investigation Draws Ire of Homeland Security

May 31, 2013

Project Veritas, lead by the intrepid James O’Keefe, released their latest investigation yesterday. This time, a group of guerilla journalists tackled the California Homeless Bill of Rights. Similar to legislation passed in Rhode Island last summer, the California Homeless Bill of Rights passed the judiciary committee with a vote of 7 to 2. The bill means to stop the criminalization of homelessness by allowing the homeless to be wherever they want, whenever they want, or so the lefties believe.

Videographers posing as homeless men visited the homes and offices of assemblymen who sponsored the bill to see if those who claim to support decriminalization of homelessness practice what they preach.

@Project_Veritas Our investigators visited the homes and offices of legislative sponsors of the California Homeless Bill of Rights to find they’re not interested in practicing what they preach. Their investigative reward? Homeland Security threatening their fourth amendment rights.

Rate Shock: In California, Obamacare To Increase Individual Health Insurance Premiums By 64-146%

May 31, 2013

Here it comes, how much free is going to cost you. It start with California … then the rest of the States.

Still think free healthcare is a good idea? Wait until you hear what is going to happen to your doctor … more recently told me he is retirig this fall. So I need to find another, by then. So what if I can;t, then what?

Are upi noticing how liebrals lie to get you to support their cannot work stuff. In engineering we have a phrase for this, LARGE SYSTEMS FAILURE. It’s generally applied to software, where things get so complicated they simply stop working and no one knows how or why that is. I assume you have read about systems like this, and the messes they make. Well prepare yourself, it’s coming …. First costs, then the doctors, as availability shrinks. Yes my Doc told me what he was doing and WHY.

David Stockman: “The Error Of Central Banking Has Become Universal”

May 31, 2013

In the old normal (“when we had an honest Fed,” under Volcker), David Stockman explains to CNBC’s Rick Santelli, “the market could judge what Congress and the White House was doing and decide where the risk/reward equation was and how to price the bond, the note, the bills,” but in the new normal, “today, the market is entirely rigged.

Stockman is no fan of deficits and as he notes “is no fan of money-printing,” pointing out that “it’s not honest,” for the Fed to fund these chronically growing deficits and “created an unsustainably dangerous financial system.” In thie brief interview, Stockman (of The Great Deformation fame) sums it up perfectly to a just-as-concerned Santelli, when he notes, “the error of central banking has become unversal.” We’re taxing the futures generations, he concludes, “they’re going to thank you for the massive disaster that was handed to them.” The honesty will never come…

You have both parties in the military complex and we’re still spending billions for defense.

So the honesty will be in the raising of taxes.

The honesty will come when you tell the middle class you’re not going to get a tax cut – you’re going to pay more.

Then they will wake up.

Then they will march on Washington and demand that we do something about the giant programs that are drifting today because everybody thinks the Fed will take care of the debt.”

Video here … Well worth the price of admission:

Texas Bringing Freedom to Your Email

May 31, 2013

The state of Texas is becoming the standard for freedom in America. Already attracting thousands of new employers for its pro-business stance and hundreds of thousands of new residents for its pro-individual policies, now the Lone Star State wants to revolutionize online freedom.

The state legislature has sent a bill to Governor Rick Perry that would close a troubling loophole that allows the government to access your personal emails. Provided that Perry doesn’t veto the law, the legislation would only apply to state and local law enforcement. Nevertheless, it sends a powerful message to the federal government not to mess with Texas or its email.

The loophole was inadvertently created by the 1986 Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA). Back then, the vast majority of email was downloaded to one’s personal computer. Any messages not downloaded after 180 days were considered abandoned and open to government searches without a warrant.

But today, most of our email sits in “the cloud.” All those messages new and old reside somewhere on an online server — heck, I have email I saved a decade ago. Although the ECPA was created to protect online privacy, it is now being used to destroy it.

Google recently revealed that the federal government made nearly 8,500 requests for user data in the last half of 2012. This is up 136 percent from the last half of 2009 when the company started tracking this data. In the vast majority of these cases, the requests are made using ECPA subpoenas, which do not need a court order.

Ever skeptical of privacy and freedom, the feds also have dug through Twitter accounts. Of the 815 requests for Twitter user info in the past six months, 81 percent of these “unreasonable searches and seizures” were conducted without a warrant.

The Texas bill is similar to reforms that have circulated in the U.S. Senate. By letting it become law, Austin will throw the gauntlet to Washington to clean up the obsolete provisions of the ECPA. Federal reforms have gone through the Senate Judiciary Committee and await a floor vote.

Hanni Fakhoury of the Electronic Frontier Foundation applauds Texas’ move. “It’s significant proof that privacy reform is not only needed but also politically feasible with broad bipartisan support,” he said. “Hopefully that will impact federal ECPA reform efforts by getting people on both of sides of the political aisle to work together to make meaningful electronic privacy reform a reality.”

Fakhoury also encouraged other states to join in. “The more states that pass similar legislation, the more pressure it will put on Congress to keep up with the changing legal landscape,” he said.

Benghazi: Liberals Carefully Crafted Make Believe World Comes Crashing Back To Earth

May 31, 2013

Because you deserve to know the truth …

Liberals have to have their make believe world, that they construct around them. Else how else are they going to survive?

Well down it must come. In this case the carefully crafted lie, about Muslims and there terror. No it was the movie that no one saw, that caused the Benghazi 9/11 terror attack. Where 4 people were needlessly killed, including our Ambassadeur.

New data shows that long before, Libya was just what you knew it was, an Al Qaeda hot bed.

The Weekly Standard reports … State Dept. Report Lists 6 Terror Attacks Last Year in Benghazi Before 9/11 Attack

The State Department released its annual Country Reports on Terrorism 2012 survey on Thursday. The section on the Middle East and North Africa includes a report on terror attacks in Libya.

All told, there were eleven terrorism-related attacks last year in Libya prior to the 9/11 attack in Benghazi that took the life of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods.

Six of those eleven attacks took place in Benghazi:

• On May 22, assailants launched a rocket-propelled grenade at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)’s building in Benghazi. The violent Islamist extremist group Brigades of Captive Omar Abdul Rahman claimed responsibility for the attack. The ICRC evacuated Benghazi in mid-July.

• On June 6, violent extremists attacked the U.S. facilities in Benghazi with an improvised explosive device (IED). The group claimed that the attack was in retaliation for the assassination of Abu-Yahya al-Libi, the second highest ranking leader of al-Qa’ida.

• On June 11, a convoy carrying the British Ambassador to Libya was attacked in Benghazi.

• In August, there was a series of attacks against security personnel and facilities, including the bombing of the Benghazi military intelligence offices on August 1…

• On August 10, Army General Hadiya al-Feitouri was assassinated in Benghazi.

• On August 20, a car belonging to an Egyptian diplomat was blown up near his home in Benghazi.

The United Kingdom is often held up as a successful example of gun control by those on the left.  But a recent poll by the Daily Telegraph, one of England’s most widely-read publications, shows Britons themselves are far from sold on the laws.

In a poll asking readers what laws they would like to see introduced or changed, an overwhelming number of voters chose “repeal the ban on hand guns and re-open shooting clubs.”

“After all, why should only criminals be ‘allowed’ to possess guns and shoot unarmed, defenceless citizens and police officers?” reader Colliemum wrote.

It didn’t take too many beheadings to figure out what was needed to be fixed.

You Think It’s Easy…

May 31, 2013

Think it’s easy printing green? Believe you could do a better job than our illustrious bubble-blower-in-chief? The WSJ has created ‘The Federator’ in what we assume is a qualifying process for a Federal Reserve career. On an otherwise quiet day in equity and bond markets, the ‘Defender-esque’ game enables rates to be lowered (through the bearded-one’s jetpack) or raised and a helicopter money-drop is added with the goals of maintaining the 2% inflation rate while keeping unemployment low… Fail and you will witness a WSJ headline exclaiming the error of your ways.

“Armed at first with a jetpack of prospective rate cuts, a bearded central banker takes off in a quest to keep the growth rate up, the unemployment lines short, and prices stable.

True to the U.S. experience during the financial crisis, unemployment jumps quickly at the outset and the economy tanks, requiring hefty rate cuts.

Once rates reach zero, as they are bound to do, the jet pack transforms into a helicopter that starts dumping money on the economy below. It’s quantitative easing time!

WSJ’s explanation of the game.

Play the Federator …
