Bummer summer: Teen employment stays at record lows
For the fourth consecutive summer, teen employment has stayed anchored around record lows, prompting experts to fear that a generation of youth is likely to be economically stunted with lower earnings and opportunities in years ahead.
In 1999, slightly more than 52 percent of teens 16 to 19 worked a summer job. By this year, that number had plunged to about 32.25 percent over June and July. It means that slightly more than 3 in 10 teens actually worked a summer job, out of a universe of roughly 16.8 million U.S. teens.
“We have never had anything this low in our lives. This is a Great Depression for teens, and no time in history have we encountered anything like that,” said Andrew Sum, director of the Center for Labor Market Studies at Northeastern University in Boston.
“That’s why it’s such an important story.”

In this case the State Secrets being hidden are the names of illegal Immigrants … So you won’t know who the criminals are …
The Union Leader Corp. is bringing to the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston its claim that the federal government cannot keep from the public the names and addresses of illegal immigrants arrested in New Hampshire during a 2011 national sweep of criminally convicted unlawful aliens.
The appeal filed Aug. 28 under the Freedom of Information Act seeks to reverse a U.S. District Court for New Hampshire order that said disclosing the names and addresses of the six immigrants who were criminally convicted while illegally in the United States would invade their privacy rights.
And Illiegal Immigrants have privacy rights, when US citizens do now?
The six were among 2,901 illegal immigrants arrested nationwide by agents of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Enforcement division, commonly known as ICE. The Sept. 28, 2011 arrests were part of national sweep called “Operation Cross Check.”
“The public’s right to know what the government is up to is sacred to our democratic society,” attorney Gregory V. Sullivan said in asking the First Circuit Court to order ICE to release the information.
“The convicted criminal aliens at issue in this case have no legitimate privacy interest regarding the disclosure of their names,” Sullivan maintained in asking for a new review of the case and oral arguments to be scheduled. Sullivan is an attorney with Malloy & Sullivan law firm in Manchester and Hingham, Mass., and represents the Union Leader Corp.
So how do you like that?

Why should they, they have a no ask no tell policy when it comes to radical Islamic terror.
Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01) questioned FBI Director Mueller about his knowledge of the radical Boston mosque that the Tsarnaevs attended. In the Judiciary Committee hearing Mueller reveled that he was “unaware” this mosque was founded by a radical Islamist.
And then the Boston Marathon blew up … how cool is that?

“They methodically, systematically say whatever they need to say to manipulate the American people”
“This is an administration that refuses to be honest about who our enemies are but they’re gathering up huge amounts of data on innocent Americans”
Newt Gingrich hammers the Obama Administration as the most dishonest in history in an interview on the Sean Hannity radio program
They didn’t notice two Chechens, one of whom had gone back home to develop making bombs for Boston
They didn’t notice a Pakistani who had gone back home to take a training course on how to make a car bomb for New York
They didn’t notice a fanatic Major who killed 13 American and who is still today 43 months later getting his salary while sitting in jail
They can’t focus honestly on our enemies so instead, they gather up information on innocent Americans
But don’t worry your healthcare will be fine, until you get to visit the death panel. And then …

When did the FBI become our trigger happy force for evil?
Ibragim Todashev, who was killed during an FBI interview last week, was unarmed when he was fatally shot, according to law enforcement officials. Civil rights activists are now calling for independent investigation of the death.
Todashev, who knew Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, had neither gun nor knife when he was shot by the FBI, two law enforcement officials, who did not disclose their names, told the Washington Post on Wednesday.
Shoot first … then what?

The FBI was involved in a fatal shooting near Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla., early Wednesday that killed a man with ties to the older brother suspected in last month’s deadly terrorist bombing at the Boston Marathon.
CBS News senior correspondent John Miller, a former FBI assistant director, reported on “CBS This Morning” that the man, Ibrahim Todashev, was friends with Tamerlan Tsarnaev, a suspect in the attack that killed three people and injured more than 260 others.
The FBI has not commented on the relationship between Todashev and Tsarnaev.
