Another One Of Those

September 16, 2013

And I think you know what I mean …

CHRIS CHRISTIEAmerica’s Most Overrated Governor?

“New Jersey’s economy is a mess, even compared with its neighbors. The property tax burden is up sharply. Poverty is rising. And the state’s credit rating has dropped on Christie’s watch as the long-range outlook deteriorates. His successor will inherit a bigger mess than he did.”

And the crime rate in gun free New Jersey is, guess what, Up, Up, and Away …

He is all hat no cattle…

PAGLIA On Hillary : What Has She Done?

September 1, 2013

Well the hits keep coming, so why would anyone : PAGLIA: WHAT HAS HILLARY DONE?

Yes, her most famous act was cover-up the terror attack on our Benghazi embassy, and getting the Ambassador and other people killed … “What difference does it make” …

Well for starters it shows she is a total incompetent. Haven’t we had enough of them yet?

Why The Left And Their Media Needs More Racism …

August 28, 2013

Today is the day, pour it on day … So it’s a good day to sit back and listen to some fine music. Might I suggest SPOTIFY? Igore the speeches, lower your blood presure. It’s not 1953 anymore … for most normal people, for the left… well you decide for yourself.

JAMES TARANTO, more on — Why the Left Needs Racism–III

Carlson’s whole appeal to emotion actually cuts against her argument. No doubt the Jim Crow scenes in “The Butler” are shocking. But in 2013, that is the shock of the unfamiliar. If blacks were still oppressed in the South, you wouldn’t need to go to the theater to see it. You could watch it in high-definition in your living room, on the evening or cable news.

The Carlson piece got us to thinking about why race plays such a central role in the worldview of today’s liberal left, and why those on the left seem to suffer from a compulsion to exaggerate wildly the continuing prevalence of racism. In the first two columns in this series, we argued that it serves a political purpose, sustaining black loyalty to the Democratic Party, and a psychological purpose, allowing white liberals to assert their moral supremacy over other whites. (Since we wrote the latter column, it has also occurred to us that the idea of “white privilege” seems to be a guilty pleasure for some whites.)

Carlson’s argument suggests a third purpose, an ideological one.

It has now been 49 years since Congress passed the Civil Rights Act and 48 since the Voting Rights Act. If racism really remained as prevalent as liberals claim, one could argue that would represent a failure of liberal governance. Contrariwise, if indeed racism has largely abated, as this columnist asserts, that would seem to be a vindication for liberal governance.

But actually the liberal position is not inconsistent. Carlson does not deny the efficacy of the Voting Rights Act; rather, unfamiliar with its actual workings, she takes it as an article of faith that without it, even in 2013, blacks would be forbidden from voting.

When you’re that ignorant, you take a lot of unlikely things on faith. Especially when they’re ideologically convenient.

Look if you want to cut to the chase, it’s about photo IDs and the then lack of ability to stuff the ballot boxes with Democrat illegal votes, Simple as that… You can check out the True The Vote for more … They will show you how you get more people votong than you have people. That’s what it is all about, Democrats cheating, like what happened in 2012.

Why do you think Democrats have now sued Texas over their photo ID law? So Illegals can vote…

Democrats attempting to revive push to tax the heck out of guns and ammunition

August 27, 2013

Why yes we can tax your constitutional right. why no we cannot tax your aborting choice to kill you child.

File under more stupid Democrats … What are overwhelmingly not law-abiding and probably not tax-paying criminals … really just takes the cake of stupid.

But no way is that stopping a couple of Congressional Democrats from fixing to propose even steeper taxes on the lawful purchasers of handguns and ammunition and supposedly funnel the revenue to ‘gun violence prevention.’

Via Fox News:

Called the “Gun Violence Prevention and Safe Communities Act,” the bill sponsored by William Pascrell, D-N.J., and Danny Davis, D-Ill., would nearly double the current 11 percent tax on handguns, while raising the levy on bullets and cartridges from 11 percent to 50 percent. …

The lawmakers say the bill would generate $600 million per year, which would be used to fund law-enforcement and gun violence prevention. …

The bill would also increase the transfer tax on all weapons (except antique guns) covered under the National Firearms Act (which excludes most common guns) from $200 to $500 and index to inflation and increase the transfer tax for any other weapon from $5 to $100. …

“This legislation is a pro-active approach to reducing gun violence by using proven preventive programs which have been starved for funds until now,” Davis said. “As part of a comprehensive, multidimensional strategy to reduce gun violence, this legislation closes major loopholes in tax law and lays out an equitable, long term, sustainable strategy to provide the requisite resources.”

Yes, by all means, let’s add yet another regressive barrier to home- and self-defense, so that even more people will be completely dependent on the police for protection, in order to help offset the costs of law enforcement! … Anyone? Anyone?

Slowly People Are Getting It : Unions Protest Obama On Coal

August 20, 2013

And it’s not funny, cranking up your electricity costs by stopping coal mining, despite recent clean coal boilers, which increase efficiency dramatically and reduce all sorts of emissions(coal gasification is the engineering name), and still the EPA wants it all stopped.

Want natural gas, oh sorry we hate fracking groups will come after you.

So coal is in the O’s cross-hairs to dramatically increase your electricity costs. You people are going to have to listen to what he is actually saying.

It’s the regulations baby:

Labor unions are a mainstay of the Democratic Party, but an increasing number of them are taking issue with Obama administration environmental policies that are deemed harmful to the coal industry.

“I represent more than 2,000 boilermakers in Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. My members learned the hard way that the EPA’s goal isn’t clean air; it’s eliminating coal and our way of life’” writes Raymond Ventrone, business manager for Boilermakers Local 154, in a letter to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Since at least 2011, labor unions have been pushing back against the Obama Environmental Protection Agency’s crackdown on carbon-heavy fossil fuels, specifically coal.

So now we have the Democrat Party donors at war with the Democrats. Popcorn please.
For more on O’s regulatory mentality, read this … See where this is all headed as every freedom in America is under assault.

Tom Cotton Announces Senate Bid in Arkansas

August 7, 2013

Rep. Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) announced Tuesday he will challenge Mark Pryor, the senior senator from his state and one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for re-election next year.

Cotton, a former management consultant who served in the Army in Iraq and Afghanistan, was elected in November to represent Arkansas’ 4th Congressional District that stretches across the western and southern parts of the state.

A recent poll shows Cotton with a 43-41 percent lead over Pryor.

More Democrat fakery … This is almost funny. Coloring your skin, Hollywood makeup.

Democrats the changelings. Is it real or is it Memorex?  We know they have to hide their agenda, they will never tell you the truth about what they really want to do to you, else you wouldn’t vote for them. So a little skin coloring never hurt anyone, right? When white is just too white.

Pictures and full story at link, see for yourself …

Brietbart news has the story:

Phoenix businessowner Fred DuVal is not Hispanic. But he apparently has been coloring his skin darker in his commercials for his gubernatorial candidacy in order to appear Hispanic. DuVal says the whole situation is just a big joke, since his Republican opposition calls him “The World’s Most Uninteresting Man;” he says he was trying to make himself look like the actor from the Dos Equis commercials.

Make me Latino, I want to look like the voters I am trying to fool snare.

What Difference Does It Make … Plenty

July 15, 2013

The Difference Between Harassment And Routine Scrutiny.

This week’s disclosure does reveal that there was, in fact, a dedicated “Tea Party Coordinator” at the IRS, a position that had no analogue on the left.

What’s more, nothing the Democrats have brought forward explain why:

(1) Only 30 percent of groups with the word “progressive” received extra scrutiny — but 100 percent of groups with “tea party,” “patriot” or “9/12” in their name were subjected to invasive questioning.

(2) Agency officials have claimed in the past that “Tea Party” could mean “liberal” — if, indeed, liberal groups were on the BOLO lists as we’re now being told;

and again, the grandaddy of them all

(3) Why only conservative groups have been able to document harassment from the IRS.

When Democrats can bring forward lefty groups like all the conservatives who testified before Congress, that’s when their claims that the targeting was incompetent — and bipartisanly so — will begin to gain even a scintilla of credibility.

And that does make a difference in a nation of laws.

Remember Voter Fraud Is A Republican Myth

June 25, 2013

So why is a Democrat being sentenced for voter fraud: Indiana Dem official sentenced to prison for ’08 ballot fraud in Obama-Clinton primary. “So many names were forged — an estimated 200 or more — that prosecutor Stanley Levco said that had the fraud been caught during the primary, ‘the worst that would have happened, is maybe Barack Obama wouldn’t have been on the ballot for the primary.’”

Newspapers and TV News Trust Sinks

June 19, 2013

Maybe if they stopped lying?

Why so high …. All they do is spew Obama and the Democrats propaganda.

In Venezuela the media did much the same thing, and then Hugo got tired of them and the owners of the TV and newspapers started mysteriously dying off, mostly from bullets.

POLL: Majority of Americans Don’t Trust Newspapers and Television News…

The percentage of Americans saying they have “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in newspapers dropped to 23 percent this year from 25 percent last year, according to a report on the poll, which was released Monday.

Americans expressed the most confidence in the military, at 76 percent, and small businesses, at 65 percent.

Big Government is tyranny personified. Nudge, shove and shoot … that’s how Big Government does things.
