Gunwalker: THE SCANDAL THAT NEVER SEEMS TO END: POLICE CHIEF MURDERED WITH RIFLE LOST IN OPERATION FAST AND FURIOUS

July 6, 2013

Lost another one Eric!!! You told the Arizona dealers to allow the transfer of weapons  … Mostly AK-47  style legal semi-automatic guns. And allowed the guns to be walked to Mexico, like a good neighbor!

From the LA Times:

Luis Lucio Rosales Astorga, the police chief in the city of Hostotipaquillo, was shot to death Jan. 29 when gunmen intercepted his patrol car and opened fire. Also killed was one of his bodyguards. His wife and a second bodyguard were wounded.

Local authorities said eight suspects in their 20s and 30s were arrested after police seized them nearby with a cache of weapons — rifles, grenades, handguns, helmets, bulletproof vests, uniforms and special communications equipment. The area is a hot zone for rival drug gangs, with members of three cartels fighting over turf in the region.

A semi-automatic WASR rifle, the firearm that killed the chief, was traced back to the Lone Wolf Trading Company, a gun store in Glendale, Ariz. The notation on the Department of Justice trace records said the WASR was used in a “HOMICIDE – WILLFUL – KILL –PUB OFF –GUN” –ATF code for “Homicide, Willful Killing of a Public Official, Gun.”

The ATF allowed hundreds of guns to walk across the border into Mexico with supposed intentions of tracking them to Mexican cartel leaders.

The ATF declined to discuss the murder of the Mexican police chief. Officials told the LA Times that they are still creating an inventory of all the lost firearms for a complete account of the Fast and Furious operation. The operation was started in 2008.

At least 211 people have been killed or wounded by Fast and Furious guns, according to Mexican authorities. This, of course, includes slain U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, who was gunned down by Mexican traffickers in 2010.

Like a good neighbor, Obama only wants to arm the Mexican terrorists, just ask the Egyptians whose side Obama is on…

…..was traced back to the Lone Wolf Trading Company, a gun store in Glendale, Ariz.

The store was coerced by ATF agents to sell the guns under highly questionable circumstances. Further, the guns were not even supposed to make it to the border, let alone get across the border.

This is Eric Holder’s doing at the behest of Barack Obama.

Gunwalker Update — Issa: Fast and Furious Wiretap Information Shows Involvement of Senior DOJ Officials

June 7, 2012

In case you haven’t been following this “Fast and Furious” scandal closely. It goes like this …

“I just want you to know that we are working on it,” Barack Obama reportedly told Sarah Brady regarding gun control. “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.”

The DOJ-BATF were allowing guns, M-16 look alike guns, and AK-47 look alike guns, to be sold, or in some cases “given” to Mexican drug cartels.   Yes you read that right, our government was giving guns to Mexican drug cartels, so they could use those guns to kill U.S. and Mexican citizens — got that? These guns, and the cartel actions would build the case for a new Obama Assault Weapons ban to be proposed and passed, once the Mexican cartels had killed enough people in the US and Mexico. The ATF ‘traces’ of the guns would trace back to the gun stores in New Mexico and Arizona. But in the process the guns were used to kill a U.S. Border guard, agent Terry, in Arizona.

To date, about 1000 to 3000 Mexicans have been killed using these guns. Around 2000 guns from the USA are involved in the dirty gun deals. You see there wasn’t enough real evidence, so Obama and the boys had to manufacture some for the lamestream media.

If that’s not enough — Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was forced to use beanbags against armed Mexican killers before he was shot dead in Arizona in December. The Arizona Daily Star reported on the incident. Of course the lamestream media didn’t report it. Only Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News picked up the story and continued to cover it. Here is her latest report. Lately an audio book on the subject has been written by Katie Pavlich Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and Its Shameless Cover-Up

Firearms “walked” by the BATF have been found at violent crime scenes on both sides of the Mexico – United States border, and have been found at the crime scenes involving deaths of many Mexicans and at least one U.S. federal agent, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. The “gunwalking” operations became public in the aftermath of Terry’s murder. As a result, dissident ATF agents came forward to Congress. As investigations have continued, the operations have become increasingly controversial in both countries, and diplomatic relations have been damaged as a result.

Now there is DOJ wiretap information connecting AG Holder to the BATF Fast and Furious gunrunning operation. We pick up the story …

Gunwalker: February 2, 2012 Holder’s No. 2 in 2009: Gunwalking, Fast and Furious a ‘terrific idea’

February 2, 2012

The head of the Department of Justice’s Criminal Division and Attorney General Eric Holder’s highest-ranking deputy, Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer, called Operation Fast and Furious and gun walking a “terrific idea” in emails to now-former Acting Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Director Ken Melson back in late 2009, according a report released by Republican staff of the House Oversight Committee.

On Dec. 3, 2009, Melson wrote to Breuer, “Lanny: We have decided to take a little different approach with regard to seizures of multiple weapons in Mexico. Assuming the guns are traced, instead of working each trace almost independently of the other traces from the seizure, I want to coordinate and monitor the work on all of them collectively as if the seizure was one case. . . We should meet again just to catch up on where we are in our gun-trafficking issues and we could talk about the above idea as well. Let me know what you think.”

Breuer responded on Dec. 4, 2009, writing, “We think this is a terrific idea and a great way to approach the investigations of these seizures. Our Gang Unit will be assigning an attorney to help you coordinate this effort.”

Eric Holder wants a pass on responsibility for the functional racism of stacking up hundreds of Mexican bodies as an excuse for more gun control in the Gunwalker Scandal because if we try to blame him we’re racists because he’s black

December 19, 2011

Sipsey Street reports:

Justice Dept silent as Holder charges critics with racism.

Well, of course. What’s a few more dead Mexicans in service to the meme, anyway? I mean the Democratic Hispanic Caucus doesn’t object, so why should we?

Gunwalker: Fast and Furious Scandal Cannot Be Contained

October 21, 2011

Jake Tapper is the latest to focus on what he called “a big scandal”. He did so on last night’s “Nightline”.

Het what could go wrong when the federal government, using tax dollars to buy and give weapons to the bad guys? Don’t they realize that people can get killed?

Fast & Furious is literally a killer of a scandal, drenched in the blood of victims of a federal government operation.  Despite the best efforts of the Obama team to obfuscate, the truth is emerging, so that the media and even some Democrats are focusing on a full unearthing of the facts.

Tuesday, October 18 proved to be an important day in the slow march towards justice for the families of murdered federal agents Brian Terry and Jaimie Zapata, and the hundreds of Mexicans dead from Fast & Furious firearms.

First, the U.S Senate unanimously voted in favor of an amendment prohibiting funds from going to any future gun-walking type operations. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) introduced the amendment in direct response to the 2009 Fast and Furious debacle. The bipartisan consensus prompted Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) to join Cornyn in his demand for answers from Attorney General Eric Holder.

‘Well I heard about it from the news reports. This is not something we were aware of in the White House and the Attorney General it turns out wasn’t aware of either.’

So this investigation will be complete, people who have screwed up will be held accountable but our overarching goal consistently has been to say we’ve got a responsibility not only to stop drugs from flowing north, we’ve also got a responsibility to make sure we are not helping to either arm or finance these drug cartels in Mexico.

Wow. President Obama wants the American people to believe he and his top officials were unaware that low level agents were implementing a program to curb the flow of guns from the United States to Mexico. The same officials, Attorney General Eric Holder and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who visited Mexico in March and April of 2009 “to make sure” weapons bought in the United States were not crossing the border.

And the original Obama intent of Obama and the regime, make a scandal so big that Americans everywhere would be crying out for more gun control, destroying the second amendment … couldn’t say. But that would qualify as my “under the radar plan”.

Gunwalker??? Obama Operation??? Obama Spoke About “Fast & Furious” Before Holder Claimed He Knew

October 14, 2011

CNN’s John King plays Holder’s testimony to Congress on MAY 3, 2011, where he said he had only just recently heard about the Fast & Furious gunrunning program. “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks,” Attorney General Eric Holder said.

Then CNN compares Holder’s testimony to what President Obama said in MARCH to CNN Espanol about the operation. “I heard on the news about this story that — Fast and Furious, where allegedly guns were being run into Mexico, and ATF knew about it, but didn’t apprehend those who had sent it.”

Transcript of the segment that aired on “John King USA” below:

KING: Well, Congressman Cummings, let’s get to one of the questions here. Let’s first listen to the attorney general. He came before this committee back in May. Here’s what he said.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ISSA: When did you first know about the program officially I believe called Fast and Furious? To the best of your knowledge, what date?

ERIC HOLDER, U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL: I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

KING: He says over the last few weeks.

That is on May 3, 2011. Listen to this interview the president of the United States, not the attorney general, the president of the United States, had with CNN Espanol back in March.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BARACK OBAMA, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: There have been problems, you know. I heard on the news about this story that — Fast and Furious, where allegedly guns were being run into Mexico, and ATF knew about it, but didn’t apprehend those who had sent it.

Eric Holder has — the attorney general has been very clear that he knew nothing about this. We had assigned an I.G., inspector general, to investigate it. (END VIDEO CLIP)

KING: It begs the question, how did the president know about this in March, and how did the president know the attorney general knew nothing about this in march, when the attorney general says in May he just learned about it a couple weeks ago?
