High Capacity Quacks

April 10, 2013

If you actually use a gun, the bullets deliver not the magazine. The head is what regulates actions.

Survey suggests law enforcement united against gun control.

“Almost 96 percent said that a ban on standard capacity magazines would not reduce violent crime.”

But liberals never seek to use their heads … guns running down the street, spraying bullets everywhere, like they are seltzer bottles. Gun does nothing the operator does not warrant.

Not sure we shouldn’t muzzle the high capacity quacks though. I bet that would fix several problems in their make believe world of ground up unicorns and pixie dust fueled world. Maybe a dose of science would help also.

UPDATE: Number Of U.S. Gun Makers Refusing Sales To Gov’t In ‘Firearms Equality Movement’ Triples In Two Weeks

Magpul Changes Positions – Will No Longer Sell to Law Enforcement in Anti Gun States

March 4, 2013

Bravo Magpul.

The gun community spoke and you listened.

After a bit of a backlash when Magpul announced they would continue magazine sales to law enforcement in states where those same magazines were banned from civilians, Magpul has now changes their policy and pledges to explore a better way enforce their sales in the future.

Besides the sale to law enforcement issue, Magpul has been a very outspoken supporter of gun rights in recent weeks, announcing they will leave their home state of CO if a proposed magazine ban is signed into law there. They also put a plan in place to allow CO residents to buy up to 10 PMags immediately ahead of the ban.

Here is a copy of Magpul’s announcement:

South Dakota Approves Guns in The Classroom

March 4, 2013

At least some sanity …

Lawmakers in South Dakota have passed a bill that would allow school districts to arm staff and teachers with guns to make their schools “safer”.

State Senators on Wednesday voted 21-14 to pass the measure, despite large-scale opposition from school administrators and personnel, who are largely opposed to bringing weapons into their schools.

Supporters of the bill claim that arming teachers could prevent tragedies like the Dec. 14 massacre in Newtown, Conn. The bill’s sponsor, Sen. Craig Tieszen, R-Rapid City, said that he would leave the decision to arm teachers up to individual school districts, but that he strongly recommends it.

When Craig advocated for the measure earlier this year, he said that having gun-free schools would simply make them more vulnerable and invite potential mass murderers.

“The possibility of an armed presence in any of our schools is a deterrent,” Craig told Fox News, claiming that no shooter would attack a school whose teachers are armed.
