Egypt’s draft constitution limits role of Islam … Which is BTW what the people wanted as under the Muslim Brotherhood, it was all Islam all the time, And The people did not like that…
Egypt’s new constitution – born amidst bloodshed and aimed at curtailing the influence of Islamism – is starting to take shape, setting the stage for yet another confrontation within the country’s increasingly fragmented society.
Officially, the new draft constitution mandated by the military-led interim government has yet to be released. In recent days, however, several academics and researchers have taken a look at the document before it becomes public. What they found is a constitution stripped of almost all the Islamist clauses inserted during the one-year reign of ousted president Mohammed Morsi.

Pay attention to how you lab rats are treated to the news … report what makes advances leftist/Obama agenda and ho, hum, what doesn’t.
This is getting just awful as Christians are being killed left and right. : Persecution of Christians continues in Egypt…
Islamist mobs have torched schools and businesses owned by Christians, looted churches and even paraded captive nuns through the streets of a city south of Cairo in a display of rage unseen in Egypt’s recent history.
The campaign of killing and arson is retaliation for the tiny Christian community’s support of the military coup that ousted President Mohammed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood government.
“The Muslim Brotherhood were the ones who called for aggression [against Christians]. They are responsible,” said the Rev. Khalil Fawzi, a pastor at Kasr El Dubarrah Evangelical Church, the largest evangelical congregation in the Middle East. “Either they are in control or they burn Egypt.”
The lamestream media is mostly silent, so as to not harm our Obama and his Muslim Brotherhood supporters. Which is criminal what the lamestream media is doing, but it is what they have always done and have now become … full time Democrat Party stenographers.

Getting tough for our dear leader : Gulf nations split with West to back Egyptian military
Efforts by the West to pressure Egypt’s new government to end its crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood could be moot thanks to Saudi Arabia’s oil money – and whole-hearted backing of the military.
While the West calls for peace in Cairo, the Saudis are supporting Gen. Abdel Fattah el-Sissi, who led the ouster of Mohammed Morsi. The Kingdom has pledged to make up for any loss in foreign aid resulting from the military’s brutal crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood.
On Monday, the country’s foreign minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal issued a hard-hitting statement via the Saudi Press Agency pushing back on the West.
O’s Worldwide Caliphate plans take big hit … Why is it we always seems to be on the wrong side of the goings on … First we backed the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood creeps and now when we could side with the good guys, we take a squat.
And now it looks like we can’t even have the upper hand, with dollar diplomacy.
Oh well we wanted oil to go up in price anyway, USA economy killer… That’s good. Anybody thought maybe we could just drill our own oil? Naw …

Just like Obama promised but, can’t deliver. Leading from behind is not leading at all, Egypt is now finding that out. Flames and bombs heals all … Hey, I need a vacation …
According to the Los Angeles Times.
The pro-Morsi crowd calls Obama a hypocrite for claiming he supports democracy when he doesn’t support Morsi, Egypt’s first democratically elected leader.
“The morals of America are not being reflected in their politics toward Egypt,” said Sharif Hegazy, 37, a Cairo businessman. “Because of its past support for [deposed President Hosni] Mubarak, America has always been seen as a veiled enemy. Now they are just waiting to see which side will win. That’s not ethical. The U.S. should support the election.”

Nor should we be giving weapons to EGYPT: Egyptian security forces shoot dead dozens of pro-Morsi supporters.
Egyptian security forces shot dead dozens of supporters of ousted Islamist President Mohamed Mursi on Saturday, witnesses said, days after the army chief called for a popular mandate to wipe out “violence and terrorism”.
Men in helmets and black police fatigues fired on crowds gathered before dawn on the fringes of a round-the-clock sit-in near a mosque in northeast Cairo, Mursi’s Muslim Brotherhood said.
Dozens killed, hundreds injured in massive demonstrations…

The Egyptian Army says the rioters fired first, the army was just defending themselves.

Hey the largely secular Muslim Brotherhood, read that as Al Qaeda, took over then the fun began. It’s largely subsided from the U.S. lamestream media, ie they hide it all from the America people.
The stunning fall from power of President Mohamed Mursi, and the Muslim Brotherhood which backed him, has upended politics in the volatile Middle East for a second time after the Arab Spring uprisings toppled veteran autocrats.
Looks a lot like Detroit, no? Arab spring looks a lot like all the Arab countries..
