What Did I Think Of Obama’s Oil Spill Speech

June 16, 2010

Well I didn’t actually watch it, I was busy, but after reading it, it’s obvious what is going on. We’re being played, gamed for crap and tax, a brand new economy crippling energy tax. And today, as even Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., was quoted by The San Francisco Chronicle saying, “the climate bill isn’t going to stop the oil leak.” Stopping the leak should come first, she said.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said he agrees with Feinstein and that the energy policy proposed by Obama will not help Gulf residents in the near-term.

“What they’re doing here in effect is holding the Gulf hostage to a national energy tax,” he told Fox News.

More like this :

fire -> explosion -> oil leak -> crisis -> let ‘er leak, need bigger crisis -> leak, leak leak -> bigger crisis -> ta da -> cap and trade.

We will clean it up later.

Oh BTW, our debt gets an upgrade … from $106 trillion in unfunded mandates to a mere $130 trillion or so, or just under ten times the official national debt. Putting Nancy Pelosi in a smaller jet isn’t going to make that go away.

Now The FAA IS Banning Over Flights Of Obama’s Oil Spill

June 13, 2010

Obama is now banning overflights below 300 feet of his gigantic oil spill. Why would our most transparent president do such an unneeded thing, does he think his oil slick cares? It’s only birds and fish that care, you dolt … Why is Obama hiding the oil slick?

Yet, the Jones Act, barring foreign flagged ships and non-union workers on the ships are still banned from helping with the cleanup. Union friends get priority over Americans. How quaint of him. Even Bush waived the Jones Act for the Katrina disaster.

Yes the Jones Act is why the 17 Nations offers of tankers and skimmers were denied as not needed.
