Rabbits or Tigers?

July 31, 2013

Are they rabbits, we need tigers … Ronald Reagan’s famous speech about the differences The GOP: Rabbits or Tigers? Bold colors not vague pastels.

We need Tigers and all I see is bunny rabbits everywhere I look.

You remember the old saw “we need to get off foreign oil” The GOP and others have been singing the same song for 40 years. In case you don’t know that’s when Jimmy first introduced America to that campaign promise. they were empty promises, he never had any such suggested goal.

OK so finally we have a way to get off of foreign oil, oil drilling technology has advanced to the point where drillers can now drill right angle holes, so we can now, with the use of 60 year old fracking technology reach vast formations of recoverable oil. And even the Saudis know it… The rabbit is cornered. The goal is in sight. And can be ours.

Yet what do the GOP do? Snore, rabbits. What do our politicians want to do? Ho Hum, we have other mirages to chase, now, “Green Energy mythology”, that we have caught the last oil rabbit and can actually do something about foreign oil, and the crippling cost of same. Wrong, The politicians only wanted the campaign slogan not the real goal that you thought the phrase meant. So maybe this will be a very good read, that will enlighten you what our rabbits are up to.

We have new myths to chase after.

We need tigers, instead we get distractions, slogans,  and and herds of rabbits.

The Green Agenda

April 26, 2013

All this is all about the carbon tax, so the greens have more of your money to give away. They have given up on global warming, too many people know it’s a hoax now. Our economy is now so sick, that we have beat our allocated CO2 limits set out in the Kyoto protocols. Take that.

The EU has been the global laboratory testing the green agenda to see how it works. Today’s story means that the guinea pig died; the most important piece of green intervention in world history has become an expensive and embarrassing flop.  It’s hard to exaggerate the importance of this for environmentalists everywhere; if the EU can’t make the green agenda work, it’s unlikely that anybody else will give it a try.
