Baseload is Just A “Coal” Industry Idea (Yes And Darkness Is A “Renewable” Energy Idea, Right?)

Ever look at those satellite maps of the world at night?Notice anything? Like the number of countries that don’t have country wide power?

We have become so accustom to full time, just flip the switch, power and instant light we forget that we are not the norm in the world, who does with electricity. Ever think what it would be like to live in one of those dark countries? Have you ever wondered why Africa is mostly dark at night? Gives meaning to Dark Continent … You want to know how a continent rich in coal is still dark at night. For the answer to that perplexing question ask the dictators in Africa, and the IMF who pays them to keep it that way.

Modern society runs on electricity. Is that why our breezy turd world President is so hell bent on shutting the power off? Ask the New York City residents how that is working out for them?

Meanwhile, Communist china is adding about one power station a week to their grid. Yes coal fires China’s electricity. They are currently trying to figure out how President’s Bush’s clean coal works. It’s really called coal gasification, for the boiler technology involved. Technically it’s called — An integrated coal gasification combined-cycle (IGCC) power plant. It was built with Energy Department funds to prove the efficiency improvements in the boiler system. Yep Bush did it…

But coal burning comes with a down-side, dirty soot. You see any of that in the USA? Nope we already fixed that problem and have move on to coal gasification ….

Back to the liberals world of no electricity .. There was a day when liberals mourned the death of a single eagle, now they are killed by the 10’s each and every day, with the giant windmill blades. The eagles fly right into the blades, and liberals see nothing….

Jo Nova writes:

Tim Flannery says renewables will run the Australian economy:

“What we can now see is the emerging inevitability that renewables are going to be running the economy…”

And I say: Prepare for economic armageddon. Picture an Australia where we all have jobs — jobs  digging holes, mucking out the stables, and chopping those last few remaining trees down. We may lead the world installing Chinese made solar panels, but they won’t help us make anything that anyone else wants to buy. Anton gives us some numbers no one seems to have mentioned to Tim. Like, it takes 1,000 new wind towers to kinda equal one coal plant.

Your electricity costs are necessarily going to skyrocket…. What do you store the electricity in when the sun is dark? Doesn’t anybody think anything through.

Did you know that CO2 only absorbs heat at certain parts of the infrared spectrum? And that at the prest 380 ppm, yes parts per million, it has long since absorbed all the infrared the sun has got and doubling CO2 will do nothing. It is logarithmic, you do know what that is right? Because our religious believing climatologists apparently don’t
