TARP Watchdog Reviewing Pay Czar Decisions

At least someone is reviewing this un-Constitutional pay czar:

In a new quarterly report to Congress, Neil Barosfky, the Special Inspector General of the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program [SIGTARP], disclosed he is reviewing the compensation rulings by Kenneth Feinberg, the lawyer hired by the Obama Administration to review pay practices at firms that received big government bailouts.

“This audit will assess the criteria used by the special master to evaluate executive compensation and whether the criteria were consistently applied to all firms receiving exceptional assistance,” Barofsky wrote

Weird how Obama just ignores the Constitution.

Watchdog: Bank Bailouts Created More Risk in System

FoxNews has this report of the Inspector General of TARP … the bailouts increased the risks:

The Troubled Assets Relief Program, known as TARP, has not addressed the problems that led to the last crisis and in some case those problems have festered and are a bigger threat than before, warned Neil Barofsky, the special inspector general at the Treasury Department.

“Even if TARP saved our financial system from driving off a cliff back in 2008, absent meaningful reform, we are still driving on the same winding mountain road, but this time in a faster car,” Barofsky wrote.

Looks like we haven’t fixed the financial system as Obama states.

So how does this work, exactly, Obama says at the SOTU that the bailouts saved the banking system, the inspector general of TARP says in increased the risk of future failure. And why didn’t we just let the banks who were setup by risky home loans to unqualified pople by the government, just fail?

Is Global Warming Just A “Crock of S*%t?”

As news of the UN’s IPCC ahem, er, uh ‘errors’ spreads, the major business publications take up the chase. Slowly at first, they want to know if anyone will defend the fraud — But it appears the floodgates are opening.

When Bob Lutz, vice-chairman of General Motors, said this in February 2008, it immediately became the most widely distributed quote regarding global warming on the Internet. After all, this was one of the major power players in the automobile industry, and he was implying that anyone who believed that global warming was real, man-made, and altering the planet was something akin to a moron. But the problem with that quote is that it’s incomplete. I know. I was there.

Keys Coral Reefs Dying Of Cold

Cold kills coral; 1st time since ’70s — Conservation groups assess damage, fear long-term effects, the damage appears widespread.

Coral bleaching is a condition often associated with the summer doldrums, but extreme cold weather, like what the Florida Keys experienced earlier this month, also can cause coral to bleach and die.

This month’s cold snap has the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and other coral conservation groups conducting a survey to determine the extent of the damage. During the next two weeks, teams of scientific divers from federal and state agencies and nongovernmental and academic organizations will be surveying coral colonies from the Dry Tortugas through Martin County to assess coral reef health.

Temperatures in some Keys nearshore waters dropped to 52 degrees for several days — well below average for this time of year — with fatal results for some corals.

Mote Marine Laboratory BleachWatch Coordinator Cory Walter was surprised at the extent of the affected corals when she dove various patch reefs in the Keys last week. Most of the bleaching and death occurred in the mid-Hawk Channel and nearshore reefs, Walter said. The offshore reefs fared better. The cold seems to have affected all species equally, Walter said.

And here I thought that global warming would do in the coral reefs, when in fact cold is far more deadly to them … who knew they could be killed off by a hoax.

ALERT: UK Times: UN IPCC’s Pachauri was told of false glacier claims before Copenhagen! — ‘But he waited two months to correct it’ visit site

The chairman of the leading climate change watchdog was informed that claims about melting Himalayan glaciers were false before the Copenhagen summit, The Times has learnt.

Rajendra Pachauri was told that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change assessment that the glaciers would disappear by 2035 was wrong, but he waited two months to correct it. He failed to act despite learning that the claim had been refuted by several leading glaciologists.

The IPCC’s report underpinned the proposals at Copenhagen for drastic cuts in global emissions.

Dr Pachauri, who played a leading role at the summit, corrected the error last week after coming under media pressure. He told The Times on January 22 that he had only known about the error for a few days. He said: “I became aware of this when it was reported in the media about ten days ago. Before that, it was really not made known. Nobody brought it to my attention. There were statements, but we never looked at this 2035 number.”

The Jackasses In Washington Just Jacked Up The Debt Ceiling Twice In The Last Month

The jackass Senate Democrats raised the debt ceiling $250 billion in December and now another $1.9 TRILLION yesterday. Every single one of them, voted for this travesty,  including the now illegal Senator temporary from Massachusetts. It now stands at $14.3 TRILLION or about $100,000 for every taxpayer in the country.

These jackasses are spending our children’s future without consent from the people whose money they are stealing.

We need a Constitutional Amendment to stop this jackassery. These debts are not sustainable, no way, no how.

The List Of Non-Peer Reviewed UN IPCC Crap Science Grows Longer

For today’s scam at the UN IPCC we give you ‘coral-reef-gate’. The ‘gates’ are continuing to open on the fraud that was formerly known as ‘man-caused global warming’. Seems like every kook in the world who had a beef got it into the UN IPCC AR4 report just to make it more scary for ignorant people. I think maybe that the intent of the UN’s report was to NOT DO THAT, ya know, the world’s policy makers were supposed to be given only real science and peer reviewed ‘best science’ available.

Not junk science  … Like they apparently did.
